Remember when we got upset at Bungie asking $10 for 3 new maps 2 months after launch?

… in their game that launched with forge, co-op, tons of playlists, custom games, file share, matchmaking lobbies, working matchmaking and netcode, a great progression system, frequent communication from the devs, etc …

Now let’s all go buy some cat ears.

I actually never got upset and got excited each time and bought them day 1 as each map pack was well worth the price, especially with Forge. And at least those were complete games.

I didn’t get upset either. But it was very divisive in the community.

Yeah because you had people upset they couldn’t play with others because of the maps.

Remember all the times when 343 kept making fun of bungie’s “spaghetti code”?

I would pay $10 for 3 maps in Infinite right now even with all the problems it has. Only because the maps are already stale

Really it’s gone from $10 for 3 maps to $20 for one set of armour and icons.

I think it was the previously paywall unlocked gamemodes that was the cause of the ire, not the map pack itself.

No, but at least we got content and a couple months later it didn’t feel like I was still playing the beta.
