No? Me neither, the game still had many problems/glitches that would effect how a game went.
So why are you all so quick to judge Halo 4? A game that’s barely 3 months old.
because bungie lisened to us and would write post saying what they were doing not just being very vaugue in there post and weekly update wich is what 343 is doing.
proof of there TU…
Halo 3 Title Updates
Halo 3 didn’t have a huge TU or patch because Microsoft demands around 40,000 bucks from the developer for any tiny patch, even one that’s as simple as fixing a texture error on one side of a wall in a specific location.
If Microsoft didn’t enforce this policy then many developers would be updating and fixing their games much more frequently.
> because bungie lisened to us and would write post saying what they were doing not just being very vaugue in there post and weekly update wich is what 343 is doing.
the only thing i remember Bungie doing was saying something along the lines of “you’ll see” when ever we asked them anything
> because bungie lisened to us and would write post saying what they were doing not just being very vaugue in there post and weekly update wich is what 343 is doing.
Bungie’s Weekly Update told us about upcoming maps/events, not game fixes.
Bungie was more vague than anything.

In just 3 months 343 showed they will be more attentive to the community than Bungie has.
because people are bitter about bungie leaving…
and refuse to give 343 the time they would give bungie

I think you should make a stop in the Custom Games Options thread

I gave 343i a chance. They gave me -Yoink- Custom Game options.

and how much time would you have given if this was a bungie game?

They still reply more. Bungie has the most vaguest answers compared to most developers. I mean, I am disappointed with the custom games, but compare the rate of responses Bungie does next to 343’s. 343 gives actual effort. I’m sure they’re just too busy doing the patches because they’re still finishing Spartan Ops (was) and the map packs.
Hey everybody, lets make an attempt at throwing Bungie under the bus, because people are judging 343.
Also, I wasn’t aware if Halo 3’s problems because it was so damn fun and had things working out the box. I mean come on, Halo 3 customs were the best customs days of all time. Halo 3 doesn’t nearly have as much randomness as 4. It pleased both communities better than Halo 4 could ever do. This game is still great to play even to this day. I didn’t even know it needed a TU lol, but Halo 4 desperately needs it.

To answer your question, if Halo 3 was to be released when Halo 4 was, abs had the same glaring issues. I’d be on Bungie’s -Yoink- too, but that never happened.

very well…wait a minuet dear god a…AN INTELLIGENT PERSON ON WAYPOINT!!!
better who doesn’t start name-calling when i defend halo 4?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? wow
I love both Bungie and 343 Industries, and I love every Halo game, be it Halo 1, Halo Reach or even Halo 4 (yes, all the others I didn’t mention as well). Neither company is perfect, nor are any of their games flawless either. However, 343 Industries is doing an excellent job at listening to the community’s feedback regarding Halo 4, and are showing us that changes are being made.
For example, we’re getting our Team Doubles on Monday, which will be a permanent playlist, alongside Grifball. There’s a TU coming out at the end of the month that will most likely have some balancing changes to it. Oh, and that competitive playlist with no Loadouts or ordnance drops that we want? Yeah, that’s coming too. All this stuff, all these fixes, coming far faster than any previous Halo game before.
And what of Bungie? Yes, they made amazing games, but how were they for the fixing of glitches and problems in past games? Sure, Halo 2 had a pretty big update after 6 months of being released, but Halo 3 and Reach? Halo 3 got the simoultaneous melee glitch fixed, but the system they implemented wasn’t much better than what was there at first. And Reach? Did they ever even acknowledge that there were problems? Did they ever show us that they wanted to tweak and improve the game for our enjoyment? No, I don’t believe they ever have…

You’re joking right

to you middle paragraph.
I can make a map and a gametype that would encoperate the halo that i want to play and i beleve most of the people who left this game would want to play in 20 minutes. give me and hour and it would be amazing. the fact that it is taking them this long to do this very simple step and then put it in a playlist makeing players leave the game is beyond me.
Maybe because we see our rival’s (COD) developers coming out with crazy support for their game? And it’s only been 3 months for them as well hasn’t it? Built in live streaming ability, spectator mode, League play, worked with MLG to get picked up in Esports, developers themselves hosting a 1 million dollar prizepool tournament based on winning (not infinity challenge however plays the most wins.) flying top 32 teams out to Hollywood with everything payed for. DLC including a new gun, a new gamemode new zombie maps 4 new multiplayer maps. Game came with 15+ different playlists all the classics from previous titles obviously included, unlike this game where we have to wait for rotational hoppers. I mean the list goes on and on. Right now Halo looking like it’s not even in the shadows of COD anymore lol. I wouldn’t even consider the 2 in the same league. Not even close anymore. It’s just like any other PREY, SHADOWRUN, ALIEN COLONIAL game…

i would like to have think bungie would have gotten the message after reach and then went back to what they were good at. I did give them time i have barley seen them and they are more vauge than anything about when the TU will be. also the fact that they clearly just care about money and how much they can make is just obnoxious trying to turn the game into a gold mine and how to get more people to play to keep spending money on it. I am sure that microsoft is pushing them do to this stuff but it is to obvious that that is what 343 is about.
The majority of people hate what they are doing with halo. Look at custom games they did a -Yoink- job with that and i have not seen anything about that and that is a huge topic with lots of posts on it. Bungie had more then just BS Angle trying to talk to us. Yes bungie like a certain amount of mystery and vague answers but when it was time to be serious and talk to us they would.
If they will continue to do this to the game i love then i would rather see the game die gracefully instead of making a frankenstine monster every time they put a new number after a halo tittle

Yea because haveing the creators of the series you love produce idk about 6 games using said series perfecting each with every new instalment means nothing when you have a company takeing on the mantle of developeing future titles for said series being judged and put up against a company that had 6 games to perfect it and improve up against a company that just had their first knock at it thats not really fair. Its like being handed VERY fragile diamond from bungie the creator to 343 the student. They are learning but really the admireres of the creators work isnt giving them any chance. Simple things like we have no plans right now of fixing this and that have transpired to straight rage threads saying they will never do X,Y,and Z because they said this or because it hasnt been immediatly addressed after 5 minutes of me posting.
