THEN WHY DEFEND THE COMPANY THAT MADE IT? If that many people agree its bad than collectively its bad and the people who made it should feel bad. Those that defend the bad should feel worse that such a tavesty was set upon the world and should give up any defense as the facts are there as reminders why its bad.
To re iterate the battle royal bs. Halo cant even keep a big team battle going at full capacity all those desync issues would transfer over to battle royal with a bigger playerbase causing them to happen more frequently. So with all the issues this game is facing why push to add more.

So it goes to show why he would want more issues he wants the game to die off has since it gave his game the most trouble when it launched

Halo 4 HAD Forge day 1, jesus christ where do you people get this misinformation. Halo 5 was the first title to launch without Forge. Halo 4 had a full fledged Forge DAY ONE. I should know, I was there for the midnight release.

I played Halo 3 back in early 09, wasn’t allowed to play Halo until I was 16.
EDIT: I don’t consider player count to be a representation of the games overall enjoyability, not even for a game like Halo Infinite, I always base my gaming preference on personal experience, not on population numbers. I found Halo 4 to be annoying at first, but I adapted to the gameplay style and began enjoying it more and more. Same with H5.
I find it hilarious that people in this community can’t accept the fact some people don’t see Halo 3 as the best Halo of all time, it’s also incredibly sad how the community can’t accept this. IMO Halo 3 is the most overrated title in the series.

Its not about weather it was the best or not and to be fair it did have the cleanest and probably most balanced multiplayer on 360, reach had a good few flaws to start 4 well 4 was the end for a lot of people and the beginningof 343s following.
And while a player count doesnt affect your enjoyment it may affect others. Its like trying to find a game of halo 4 now how many people do you still think are sitting on halo 4 still enjoying that multiplayer maybe a few hundred maybe as low as 50 or even 10 imagine how long each person takes to find a game. Thats usually what player count affects but that also affects how balanced those matches are going to be. And that can affect someones game making them no longer enjoy it as they could end up always losing.
Personally it isnt that its not halo 3 because anyone who hasnt said this game is halo 3 with new bells and whistles is just lying to themselves. It plays like halo 3 in 2007, i loaded in and that was my first thought. The problem with the game and 343 is so much was promised just to be a polished poo at best. We literally got no man skyed with halo infinite. And if that reference soars over your heads go check it out on youtube keywords are no mans sky dissapointing launch.
I had high hopes for this game but 6 months for updates and its basically your standard live service update with no major changes implemented a few maps some stability fixes but really not much outside of the microtransaction store getting constant updates. Its been just one let down after the next.
People say elden ring doesnt deserve praise while halo, battlefield, cod, and even the new horizons west havent gotten as much praise, three of which are catching flak to this day for being incomplete and broken. I say it absolutely does why because it was shipped in its best playable state with minimal bugs weve now had 3 full updates and 2 minor updates patching and fixing things within 2 months of the games release. Not to mention from soft is a much smaller game developer team, than any of the previously mentioned tripple a titles. The bigger surprise comes from that game not even being classified as a triple a title. So why in the world would we let the slop as fans of a series even go by unpunished. We let developers get away with too much to the point they thought releasing this to us in this state was a good idea i mean how many other games are doing this. Ubisoft hasnt developed an original title in years, 343 keeps scrapping their story ideas so each halo doesnt feel connected like the originals were cod has been riding the same game adding weapons and flair here and there slapping each with a new skin every year, and dice well i dont think even dice knows what dice is doing since bad company 2.
This is why i have a problem with infinite and 343. A smaller company known for making some of the hardest games to date (i wouldnt say they are the hardest as ive had more trouble with other games but still dificult) and is pushing out updates faster than a company with a bigger budget and more employees. Oh and lets not forget the smaller development timeframe for fromsoft since sekiro was released in 2019.
343 has been working on infinite and the gaming engine for it since 2015 roughly and just issue after issue after issue in development. i get theres going to be some issues but can we at least acknowledge that this game is missing a ton of core gameplay mechanics that previous halos not just 3 had, i mean heck 3 didnt have firefight that was an odst thing but reach had both being released after both. odst didnt have a multiplayer, that was solved by giving the game a disc with all of 3’s multiplayer, dlc included.
Issues for games were solved with actions back then not a tweet. And game companies sure didnt bash on their community just because something that was promised for the game isnt in the game they sucked it up and added that stuff as fast as they could.

This sums up the entirety of my issues with Infinite.
To be fair to though its only been a recent problem . And these devs are the only ones to blame their community so far but this is why we gotta do something anything even if its letting our game die

But also no1 needs to bring up 343 because its not their baby its max and certain affinity’s.
Also game devs often bashed their community back in the day. The rose tinted glasses around these forums is astounding.
To be fair i dont recall bungie ever doing it though so 343i did bring it to halo as far as i recall.
The NMS thing is super hopeful though.
And I doubt anyone is so young here as to not get that ref. Id argue its a bit too positive an outlook to co.pare infi ite with one of the industries most note worthy come backs/turn arounds.
