Since there was no online multiplayer in CE, I assume you’re referring the the English-voiced covenant? I don’t really see the difference between having English speaking covenant and Alien speaking covenant. They are aliens, after all!

Do you mean a lot of non English speaking players in matchmaking?

I remember playing Halo:CE (CE not as “Combat Evolved” but as “Custom Edition”) on my PC and yeah those were the days everyone was talking in english in the chat, I actually learned english by playing online games and Halo had it’s contribution…

I think I understand what you mean. Back then I could just tell you to join an English speaking server but now the non-English speakers are everywhere in PC.
