Back in the days of H3 you could actually get a bulltrue! Then in Reach somehow a dead guy could still kill you from the grave with a sword. And in H4 (MUCH MUCH MUCH more noticeable in Flood) its rampant.

You can get a bulltrue for shooting someone who is lunging at your teammate.
I get bulltrues all the time in Halo 4. They usually are accompanied by an immediate melee kill from the grave by me.
In Halo 3, a game made by Bungie, Bulltrue was a thing to be desired, because it functioned.

I use to get bulltrues all the time then I took a sword to the knee.

In all seriousness, Since halo reach, the melee system has seemed more broken than normal. Bulltrues have become virtually impossible. I get them now just for a tie!

You could get the Bulltrue in the last real Halo game. Not so much anymore.

It was possible to get bull trues in halo reach and its still possible in halo 4. Iv’e gotten them without dying.
