Remember when 343i said they would have TU's?

Yeah me too. My question is, where are they?

God knows the game needs it. I mean for Petes sake, CoD SUCKS and it got a TU after its first week. This game is riddled with things that need to be fixed and I have not heard a single word from them addressing ANYTHING of their mistakes. I am wondering if they even know their game has no many problems or if they are too sidetracked with their piles of money.

All I want is a title update fixing the game. Or at the very least for 343 to acknowledge their mistakes and tell us when they will fix their game.

You do know that TU don’t happen over night, right? 343 has to go and fix everything that is broke, and trust me, there is no shortage of flaws in Halo 4.

It might take a while, but once the TU comes out, it’ll respark my interest in Halo 4’s multiplayer.

If you would kindly ready the weekly bulletin, then you would read that each week they release updates to glitches and bugs. First TU wont come around intill the Ranking System is added in next year.

I also remember when they said that they understood what Halo fans want out of a Halo game. They lied.

I want to know what they WILL fix in the TU. If they fix the theater mode and a couple of harmless glitches in the campaign, I am going to flip sh*t! Now if they fix flood mode or add infection, add race, , fix customs, re balance DMR, add ranking system, etc, then like you said, my interested will be resparked. I mean hell, I am still playing the game, but 2 of the main features of the game (forge and custom games) are pretty much inaccessible due to how limited they are.

I want customs back :frowning:

Its best to wait a nice month before releasing a TU. It would be a waste of effort and time to update it every week…Its best to let the problems accumulate and then in one big event. Fix them all…

Yeah, bugs where people can clip through the wall (things that shouldn’t be in the game in the first place). If the first TU comes next year, it will most likely be too late for me and for many others who are already losing interest.

Wait too long and the fans desert you, something 343 can’t comprehend apparently.

Why wait a month to fix a boat load of things when half your population is gone when you can update as time goes on and hopefully keep people interested?

Microsoft charges money for title updates (lame I know)

I don’t know if you’ve heard, but cod made half of a BILLION dollars in 24 hours. I can only assume with that kind of cash the cost of a title update is ony nickels and dimes to activision.

Title update is a thing that completely changes a game. it may fix problems but that is not the only thing it does. Seamless weekly updates like halo 4 has fix problems. Every week since launch Halo 4 has had a seamless update that fixed things such as glitched walls spawn times and announcer voices. 343I does not need to release a title update YET. For now seamless updates do the trick. Time to put their fat wads of cash to use in a good TU that fixes most of Halo 4’s issues.

I could not care less about wall glitches, I was Race back, Infection back, campaign and SP Ops theater mode, precision forging back, game modes that should have never been removed, re balancing of the DMR (or other primary weapons).

This should also be an update, but vehicular combat is ruined due to excessive amount of PP spam. What made 343 think it was a good idea to make a PP a secondary when half the game is vehicles? Not only that, but they nerfed them (Banshee and Scorpion) and they are still made of cardboard (Warthog).

Lots of huge issues in the game that I could go on multiple rants about, but I won’t since most threads have covered them. Needless to say, this game needs a TU soon if it wants me to stay a Halo fan.

You realize the game hasn’t even been out for a month yet? First they actually have to make the changes, then test them, then once everything is all nice and dandy they submit it to Microsoft, who takes it for a while and once they approve it 343i can release it. It takes MUCH longer than a month.

Title updates arent the same as simple patches/bug fixes. They dont just happen overnight, ya know They cant press some magical “make it not broken” button and make everything better.

Plus, when’s the last time you heard about a TU for a game just a month after release? You guys are dreaming if you think it’s gonna come anytime soon.

Okay, first things first, I made threads about this weeks ago (2 weeks to be exact).

Then, people told me “Wait for the next bulletin, if there is no info about an update, then be concerned.”

So I waited. A week later, the bulletin came out. NOTHING about any update, only important thing they had to say was “SWAT is back for another week! Yay” if you could even consider that “important”.

I ignored making a post about it, hoping next week would change.

Its been 2 weeks and a few days, no information about any changed, no acknowledgment, no news, nothing admitted, just ANOTHER bulletin saying SWAT is staying, new gametype added, and some stupid picture of a pedicure.

WHEN am I allowed to ask for a TU? Every single time I do or mention it, people tell me how the game has only been out for X amount of time. STOP telling me how long its been out because its been more than enough time to fix their damn game.

And don’t even say “it takes time”. If they were working on Title updates and patches since the day the game came out (which they should have), the update could have been out weeks ago. Instead, they are more concerned about pedicures and gametype hoppers…

Why would they plan a TU JUST AFTER the game’s release? That doesnt make any sense.
