Does everybody still remember when Halo 4 1st went gold, meaning it was completely done? It was like a month before the game released, but remember when people were starting to get those illegal copies. I remember I was INFURIATED to hear about it. What ever happend to those people? We’re a lot of people in trouble? Whose fault was it?

I know a guy that had an illegal copy. His box got permabanned. Not just his profile. His entire Xbox 360. Meaning he could never connect to Live. Ever.

That’s a subjective opinion. Because obviously if 343 didn’t care about Halo 4, they wouldn’t have spent so much time updating the game.

Which was ironic since the game was actually far from done and still had a million things that needed to be fixed.

Yeah, I read a news story when it was happening, that Microsoft was permabanning everybody who they found playing it pre-release. Don’t know if they’ve been able to do anything about it since, though.

Yeah, I’m among the criticizers myself, and I must admit I find it pretty annoying, too. I’ve even started threads of totally different subjects, explicitly stating over and over again in my original post to not make any comments along those lines, and sure enough, just a few minutes later, there’s somebody doing exactly that.
I mean, there are plenty of other threads for that. They could easily go to any of those, or start their own thread in criticism of it, but instead, they presumably just see a thread like “Where did this feature go?” (on the front page right now, just for an example) and go, “HEY! THAT REMINDS ME! THEY REMOVED A LOT OF FEATURES FROM HALO 4!” and immediately post a comment about that in there. It gets really annoying. I mean, I’ve got plenty of problems with this game myself, but holy crap, just let something slide every once in a while. I beg of you, Waypoint community.
