Will Reach get a Remastered experience on the xbox one?
Why aren’t people perfectly okay with the backwards compatibility of Reach on the Xbox one…
It’s highly unlikely.
Most likely in 2020. See, if 343 studios brought out 10 year anniversary editions for Halo 1 & 2, then 10 years after Halo Reach came out they may come out with remastered version. Also with Halo 3 in 2017.
There’s a lot of roomers going on about BUNGIE coming back with 343 in 2017 because of a halo reach remastered version. But then again if reach doesn’t get a lot of votes and doesn’t go on the Xbox one then maybe a remastered halo reach will come but highly doubt it, Don’t expect a remaster of Halo: Reach anytime soon.
Backwards compatibility.
Why? It literally makes no sence. The game is 5 years old, it still looks great. Same goes for Halo 3.

A PC version would be preferable, but hopefully it’ll at least receive the 60 fps treatment on Xbox One.

Reach doesnt need remastering, it looks fine still even in 2015. What it needs is dedicated servers (or better p2p connection).
Population is also an issue but with a 5 year old game its hard to maintain a population. Finding people over and over after backing out of there lobby is an example of how horribly low the pop count is.
Hopefully reach on xbox one will increase population and improve connection. But if not, reach is still hella fun. I hit like 5 naires per day

When I played not too long ago, the population waas still in the 15K-20K, which is good…

2017 would be Halo 3 anniversary why they release a Halo reach remaster ? Also Bungie has a 10 year contact with Activision, id be surprise if Bungie will anything non Destiny relate untill around 2024, Maybe a Marathon game. Back on topic of the OP, i dont believe we’ll see a remaster anytime soon, it will more than llkely be Backward compatible which is better as it doesnt spilt its player base.
Either putting it into mcc or just xbox one works for me.
Personally, I think Reach getting backwards-compatibility is better then 343i bringing it over to the MCC, because we’ll probably be able to keep our ranks with backwards-compatibility.
You know what I want? F these remasters. Having one game remastered but not another just feels weird to me. I would absolutely love if 343 took time and care and release a game of all the Halos completely remastered, like rebuilt from the ground up with gameplay akin to the newest Halo game. So say they made this product after Halo 5, we’d have the ability to sprint/clamber throughout all the Halos and whatnot. I understand the MCC debacle… but I think they learned from that… hopefully.
I would hope for halo 5’s forge with all of the objects, vehicles, scripts and weapons and maybe a few more multiplayer playlists. And of course split screen!
