Halo reachs campain is connected to the other halo campaigns ODST dosent
While I like Reach more than Halo ODST, I will have to disagree, ODST as a whole connects to the lore and deserves a port. Why 343i chose this game first is beyond me but what’s done is done and I’ll abide until Reach gets its own port.

Yes! but ODST as well, can’t have one without the other, its like a puzzle, you got to have all the pieces to have the full picture!
They’re adding ODST because Buck is in Halo 5. Reach is better than ODST in almost every way, but ODST stars Buck, and from a design standpoint, it runs on the same engine as Halo 3. I hope at some point the other Halo games will make their way to Xbox One eventually.
People have been asking for Reach to be remastered since the MCC was first announced and 343i has certainly noticed it. I’m fairly confident Reach will be ported over at some point, likely in the interim between H5 and H6. I just hope they port Firefight with it, too, instead of cutting it out like they are with ODST.
I think 343 ported ODST over because it runs on a modified Halo 3 engine, which they already ported over to the One (Halo 3 on the MCC). If they wanted to port over Reach, they’d have to make a new, modified engine for it on the One.

I hope so too. I’d like the entire game to be ported over, everything from campaign to theater.
They are going to remaster every game on its 10 year anniversary so we gotta wait 4 and a half years for reach.
we need halo reach just as much as ODST but i just dont mean the campaign and i dont what it to come to MCC i want it to be a separate game because all the custom games on reach… joy riders,speed halo, cops and robers, and who can forget the assassination towers and god dam it what about invasion you know its been canceled to appear in halo 5

Two reasons why ODST is on the way. As stated, Buck is in Halo 5 and everyone loves buck. Second, ODST runs off the Halo 3 engine so it would be an easy port.

ODST neatly ties together H2 and H3. Also, it has Johnson getting a cigar lit by an Engineer. How cool is that!?!

what’s wrong about it? odst connects with halo 2 and fills in the gap between 2 & 3, and the ending of reach connects with the beginning of halo 1.
i am not a big fan of odst, really didnt care for it, the story was borderline in my own opinion, where as reach pretty much kicks off the story plot for the Masterchief in ce-4 so
thats my stance on that reach can get remastered for xbox one but if they do that why not odst, then again they could set up a survey for all halo fans to fill out and go from
there give the fans what they want
Remaster them both
