Remaking Boarding Action: Suggestions welcome

So for my first forge map I’m thinking of remaking Boarding Action, but I definitely want to expand on it. In particular, the interaction between the two sides in H1 was very limited. I’m thinking of adding platforms between the two sides, as well as both mancannons and teleporters to encourage travel between sides. The platforms will hold some of the power weapons (rockets, laser, and/or sniper, maybe railgun or hydra launcher). One side will be covenant themed, and the other UNSC themed.

I was also considering making most of both sides to be 2 units deep (roughly about 10 ft, as opposed to H1’s version which was about 5-7ft wide). This would allow a bit more CQC that is non-linear, as well as degrees of cover from the other side. The map will have 4 levels on each side, with the platforms forming 3 levels, each halfway between the levels of the ships. Most of the platforms will be partially protected from one side or the other, except for the power weapon spawns.

So before I start fully fleshing this out in forge (i’ve already begun putting it to paper), any suggestions, especially with H5’s much different playstyle.

The only thing to bear in mind is weapon range, you want the sides just on the edge of auto aim range so that people don’t just stand and destroy each other, the other side being just out of reach encourages map movement.
