If they give us Halo 4’s MP and Halo 2’s Campaign (similar to how they did the Halo CE Remake using Halo Reach’s MP and Halo CE Campaign), I will not buy the Halo 2 remake.
Who’s with me!!!

I would say me, but I am a Halo fanboy and must have every Halo game. But I think if they put the Halo 2 Anniversary on a disc like Halo CEA but had it to when you played on the Halo 2 playlist whether on the H2A disc or H4 disc you would be playing strictly like the original Halo 2. I am talking about all the maps, guns, Spartan mechanics, no loadouts, etc. It would require heavy coding but everything is possible and they have time to do it
Now if they just release all Halo 2 maps out as DLC they should give every map from Halo 2 for a price tag of $30 and when you play on the H2A Playlist it is set up to play like the original Halo 2.
So there are two options and I am sure there is more.
Meh…I don’t really care what they do with Halo 2 Anniversary. As long as the campaign is intact and MP is playable in SOME form.
P.S. I have a feeling they are going to use Halo 4 character models in Halo 2 Anniversary
If it’s just a remastered campaign with Halo 4 or 5’s multiplayer, like Halo CEA was with Reach, then it shouldn’t be made.
I probably wouldn’t buy it if it didn’t include Halo 2’s multiplayer. The reason I bought CEA was because I never played the original CE campaign, and I figured it would be worth it, which it was. Since I already have Halo 2, I won’t need to buy H2 Anniversary for the campaign. I’m only interested in remastered multiplayer.
Ya Halo 2 is nothing without the original MP. There would be absolutely no point in buying a remake of h2 without the MP.
i will still buy, Halo 2 had a wonderful multiplayer but i dont care about the multiplayer being remade. the point of the remake to to celebrate Halo. And one of the things that makes halo so grate and the reason most people buy it is because of its campaign. To me Halo 2 was the best of the Halos. I had spent more time in campaign than in multiplayer. Halo 2 is one of the most important Halos and it demands to be remade. but after halo 2 no more remakes.
I’m not with you. Halo 2’s multiplayer was nothing compared to its Campaign.
You WON’T buy it for the amazing campaign which will have next gen graphics(As it’s coming out for the next XBOX) as well as extra levels, deleted scenes added in and ALL of the Halo 2 multiplayer maps REMADE?!?!
WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU MAN!?

True dat^^^^

Finally, SOME people who care about the campaign
The campaign was awesome, the soundtrack was magnificent but the multiplayer was another level. I’d buy a remastered Halo 2 regardless but if it had multiplayer, the original Halo 2 multiplayer for XBL I’d be extremely happy. I miss Halo 2’s MP a little too much.
Campaign is what’s important, I could care less about the MP.
Is there a certain source saying that it’s hitting the next gen system? I didn’t think MS had that in their cards ATM.
What they need to do is make more options on future Halo games so you can choose whether to have duel wielding in a match, adjust weapon strength, and player attributes so that you can match the feel of H2 multiplayer in H4. We still wouldn’t be able to super jump though but to be honest, it was kind of a relief when that was no longer a thing I worked at doing well.

Nobody forces you to buy the remake. You find it so neccesary to start some sort of rebellion because the old Halo 2 multiplayer might not return? Sometimes my faith in humanity… It just aint there anymore.

Yeah, I’m forcing myself not to buy the Halo 2 remake if it doesn’t have Halo 2’s MP. Just wanted 343 to know that. Hopefully others want 343 to know they won’t buy the Halo 2 remake without Halo 2’s MP either.
Who knows. The campaign was great, but anyone with half a brain knows that the multiplayer is what makes Halo 2 so memorable and nostalgic. I’m all for the return of Halo 2’s multiplayer, but it is not likely to happen.
I would love to play the H2 MP, but evan without it, I want to buy it anyway, because I missed out on the first 2 Halo games, Im a late arrival to the Halo franchise.
Lol at you people crying about how the MP. Campaign is the most important thing. 343i added extra content to Halo CEA and it was pretty good. I’m so glad that you people aren’t making the games. They would be horrible games, if you people made them.
