I originally posted a thread in the polling booth about this but have decided to put it in the halo 4 forum instead. what I never got was in any game when you reloaded your gun you remove the mag and put in a new one… but wait you used melee and it interrupted the animation… which you have already taken the mag out and of course when you melee you put the EMPTY mag back into the gun so you have to restart. or you remove the mag but are engaged in combat so you fire your gun which interrupts your animation. how did you fire your gun if you just took all the ammo out of it because that makes sense. the solution I propse was actually sugested by another user and is…
> Have it in stages (before clip’s taken out, and then after it’s taken out but before a new one’s put in. Modify accordingly for weapons that might need more stages) and if you melee before the stage has completed then it restarts from the beginning of that stage.

> Like, i melee before the clip’s taken out, it restarts the animation, if i melee after it’s taken out but before the new one’s put it, the animation restarts from after the clip was taken out. That way, you’re not immediately continuing the reload, but you’re also not going through the whole process all over again.
The above solution solves all problems regaurding reloading/realism as well as prevents abuse of the system
