Release Version of HI: PC STEAM VERSION: Just Tested Custom Games Area! Still Has Issues! Very Disappointed!

Well I had deleted the beta off my PC and did a clean install of Halo Infinite Release Version of HI. Spent 15 to 20 mins setting my mode settings. So after I “SAVED MY MODE SETTINGS” I left the game waited 60 seconds then re-booted the game. I then went to the Custom Game Area. Then went into mode settings. Then went into my files to load up my saved mode settings and guess what?? All then settings that I spent 15 to 20 mins to setup was all GONE!!! The settings went back to the Default settings! That Really Sucks!!! :-1: What is the point of going into the settings and saving them only to find out your setting that you saved went back to the default settings.

As it sits now In my honest opinion I would not buy the game until they fix this issue. I don’t play in the Social Games Area unless a friend invites me. I play custom games only!

Side Note: In my honest opinion Game Settings and Mode Settings should be LOCALLY SAVED!!! “NOT ON SOME CLOUD SERVER!”

Also we need to be able to delete the files that we have created like could in Halo MCC!!!

I 100% agree about the cloud saving for custom games. I really don’t understand what’s happening for it yet and my attempts to save things have ended in failure too, so I can’t pass a judgement on it. But I’ve heard people tell me that gametypes are saved online and that our edits only constitute the uploading of some sort of partial file. That sounds… really bad.

Thanks for the help but there was nothing there that will fix the MODE SAVING ISSUES!
Well unless a friend invites to a HI game I guess Ill be running my Halo MCC games till 343i fixes this issue! Kinda sucks eh?
