RELEASE NOTES
The 1.1 update of Halo Waypoint for Windows Phone 7 adds two new big features:
- Xbox Live Friends and Messaging
- Halo: Reach Service Record
XBOX LIVE FRIENDS AND MESSAGES
The 1.1 update enables the Friends and Messages buttons in Halo Waypoint, which previously appeared ‘locked.’
Tap on Friends to see a real-time listing of all your Xbox LIVE Friends, including their Gamertag, their Gamerpic, and current Presence information, which lets you know if they are online and which game they are playing.

From Messages, you can see your Xbox LIVE message inbox, and you can compose and send messages to a friend or to any Xbox LIVE gamer.
HALO: REACH SERVICE RECORD
You will also notice from the 1.0 version of the app is the “Service Record” panel. This panel shows a high level summary of your progression in Halo: Reach and includes the following components:

- Current Rank and progress towards next Rank
- Battle Proficiency Rating (BPR)
- K/D (Kill / Death ratio) for Matchmaking Multiplayer

Battle Proficiency Rating (BPR) details:
- BPR Is a number between 1 and 100

STATS SECTION
In the Stats section of Halo Waypoint, you can view summaries of stats numbers across the many game modes, maps, and playlists from Halo: Reach. This section is divided into three panels, which you can pan between by swiping left or right:
Stats Summary:
- This sub-section shows you a list of relevant ‘numbers’ for whatever filters you have chosen.
- By default you will see the stats for “All Games,” with no filters applied.
- The type of numbers you see listed here include Playtime, High Scores, Kills, Deaths, Games played, etc.
- You can narrow down which Stats you want to see by applying Filters (see Filters section below).
Weapons: This sub-section shows you an ordered list of the Weapons you use for the given set of filters, ordered by number of Kills with that weapon (descending).
Enemies: This sub-section shows you an ordered list of the Enemies you have slain for the given set of filters. They are ordered in descending order by how many you have killed.

When “All Games” is selected (as opposed to Invasion, Competitive, Arena, etc.), the view in Stats Summary is divided into three chunks of numbers:
- Overall: Shows global stats that apply across all game types and includes Stats like Total Games, Armory Completion, Challenges completed, etc.
- Multiplayer: These numbers are aggregated from Invasion, Arena, Competitive and Custom Multiplayer games. They include stats like Total Games, Wins, Losses, Kills, Deaths, etc. for those modes.
- Campaign/Firefight: As the name suggests, these numbers aggregate totals from Campaign and Firefight games, including High Scores, Total games, Kills, Deaths, etc.

The challenge here is that we use video streaming technology, so we don’t currently have a direct link to a downloadable file. However, we may consider enabling something like this, at least for key videos, in a future release.
