I was thinking… wouldn’t it be sick if 343 could release the gameplay demo that was shown off during Microsoft’s “E3” presentation? I mean not now of course, but this is how I’m thinking it could work…
Maybe some time during April/May they could release the gameplay demo that was shown to us. It could be given out to everyone, or to certain Insiders for testing and feedback. They would have to put up barriers so that we can’t explore the ring or do other missions. We would only be able to explore wherever was shown in the video.
I would personally love this to happen and I’m sure a lot of others would to. Maybe this is already planned to happen but either way it’s something I’d love to see.
I would love that, but they might rather put out a multiplayer beta instead of a demo. If we could get both that would be really awesome but who knows.
The trend in the gaming industry seems to be moving away from releasing game demos unfortunately 
Which means we probably won’t get to play that campaign mission before release. I would love to be proven wrong though.
Unless it leaks, I don’t think we’ll get anything playable until at least late summer.

This is what I think. Announce the beta at E3.
I’d like them to do a shot for shot of that same demo but with all the updates theyve made so we can truly see the updates.
I’d rather a beta over the demo. I want the campaign to be fresh.

My mind is almost solely on multiplayer so a beta would scratch that itch better for me.
Here’s the thing, the demo was about 5 minutes of gameplay. Would you really want that? Sure you could wander around the environment and do some other stuff for a bit but honestly I don’t think it’d even be worth releasing a campaign demo.
When the flights for Infinite release it’ll more than likely be Multiplayer. That’s going to be the lifeblood of the game and needs to be ready for the full release of the game. Flights allow us to help 343i do that.
I’m sure you could argue that to some extent for the Campaign but on a scale of priority Multiplayer will be more important for the long term.
