So I know that they have not shown a date, but let’s try and predict when it could happen. I personally believe it would be around the end of august to mid September. The reason why I believe this is because, I doubt Halo wars 2 can go head to head with battlefield or call of duty later this year. Also that would be around the last big gaming event. So the hype will be high.
Autumn 2016. E3 is in two weeks, I’m sure we will know by then.
Although I don’t think the game will release in October or November, the release of games like Battlefield and COD probably won’t affect the sales of the game as much as a ‘normal’ Halo games due to it being a strategy.
It will go head to head with Battlefield and Call of Duty as the games are appealing to totally different audience, Halo Wars 2 is probably the one of the biggest RTS releases of the year, in both PC and console communities. Even when it’s competiting with Total War: Warhammer and (Sins of a Solar Empire? Something like that). Halo Wars has a massive following, and PC players (myself included) have been looking for a Halo game on PC for a while. I can assure you that PC players will be looking forwards to this even though it will be a very basic RTS, and yet complex console RTS.

i agree i think loads of people will want this, especially since it will be on PC as well plus everyone wants to know what has happened to Red team and the Spirit of Fire. i also hope it explains a bit more about halo 5’s timeline as well as who the brute Chieftain is

I’m guessing that it might either be released in late September or early October. It did say, Autumn 2016, so that’s my guess.
