has there been any updates on a time frame for release?

There is still no updates on the release date for the upcoming Halo Infinite. I am hoping that we can get some updates from 343 Industries either on March 2021 or April 2021.
I could be wrong but I’d be willing to bet that they’ll hold off on giving us the final release date until this summer when they show off more gameplay during an Xbox event that will replace what would be their E3 show. I feel like they’ll wait until then and announce it at the end of the gameplay to hype people up by showing them that it’s coming very soon. And if I were them, I wouldn’t announce a specific release date until I knew for certain that I could meet that date since it’s already been delayed once. Not saying that I think there’s a chance it’ll get delayed again, I’d just rather them wait to announce the date until they know for sure that it’ll be ready to release by that day, even if it’s only a month’s difference or less
A quick google search would probably have given you this answer, but no there has been no updates other than “Holiday 2021” that was stated at the end of last year.
We’ll likely hear news on a release around summer time when big gaming events such as E3 take place. Until then I wouldn’t expect to get any news on a release date. Keep your eyes on the Halo & Xbox social media channels, when news of a release date is made publicly available you’ll hear about it from there.

If any news on this comes out it’ll probably be in the monthly Halo Infinite news blogs on this website and there usually on the last week of the month.
I’d wager any amount of money it will be November 15 to coincide with Halo’s 20th anniversary. I can’t remember the exact details, but I think it was Bonnie Ross who specifically referenced it when the delay to fall 2021 was announced.

For me the key indicator recently has been the 19 October release date on Amazon for Halo: Divine Wind. I just can’t see them releasing a book within a month after a game releasing. The release window which makes most sense is a few weeks to a month before the game itself - when hype is building and you may get some additional sales for anything connected to the game.
For me that all but confirms they’re targeting 15 November right at the end of the Fall release window
Obviously it’s still some way away so plans may yet change.

That’s an interesting point I wasn’t even aware of, and it makes complete sense. I don’t see 343 releasing any other media almost immediately after the release of Infinite. Infinite is the main course, the meat and potatoes of all the things 343 have been releasing up until that date. Everything else is some form or another of hype for Infinite. I predict November 15th as well, with November 16th being my second possibility.

All we know is “Fall 2021” according to December’s Inside Infinite. I would expect to hear a release date during E3 or Microsoft’s replacement for it rather in mid June or early July. It’s Spring already so just hold on 3 more months to get more video footage, multiplayer news and a set-in-stone release date
Fall 2021 is all we have heard so far, and Bonnie Ross mentioned Combat Evolved’s birthday coming soon. That’s all we’ve heard.
Giving rise to a delay is the time to release it on the anniversary of halo, so we can get the idea of the date on which the game will be released.
i think fall 2021

Yes indeed
No updates at the moment. I can imagine November 15 since it’s the 20 year anniversary of Halo Combat Evolved or November 20 just for the sake of saying “20 years and the 20th Day.”

Fair enough. As I understand it the Monday is usually to give an extra day’s prep and in the old days an extra day to prep launch in stores which when they already had a whole year extra and store launches aren’t a big thing… hopefully they can just go for the anniversary
