I know Halo Infinate doesn’t have a known release date ans many speculate it will be awhile from now but I think the new H5 magnum skins could be an indicator on just how long. It takes 650 wins to get the new Gold magnum skin which for many of us still playing Halo, can take months. A lot of current Halo players are the true fans who stick to the game which is most likely the older group of players who have families and full time jobs. Meaning, for those who play solo, could be a very long grind to get. I doubt they would implement such a tedious grind if Halo had any plans of being released any time soon. This makes me feel it could be late 2019 or 2020. Again, I know most people expected this but I feel this may almost be confirmation. Personally, I don’t care if that’s the case but it made me wonder a bit.
If you want a good estimate, you can base it on when Gears 5 releases. That game looked much further along in development since they showed cutscenes and a bunch of gameplay at E3. I don’t think Microsoft will want to release both a Gears and a Halo game in the same year, so you can assume at least about a year after the release of Gears 5.

depends on what part of 2019 gears 5 releases with how big games are starting to release in spring now I could see a spring 2020 for infinite but not ruling out a late 2019 though guess just depends on how far along infinite is

well let’s hope gears 5 releases early 2019 because if halo infinite doesn’t come out in the same 12 month period than I would rather wait till early 2020 rather than late 2020.
Im thinking Halo Infinite will either come out in November 2019 if were lucky. Possibly Janurary 2020 , who knows ?

I would be happy with that, but I don’t see it. Devil May Cry 5, Anthem and Sekiro (spelling lol), Division 2, Metro Exodus and others are early 2019, but who knows ?

It is confirmed to be on the Xbox one, but many people think it may be a cross-generation title. It would be incredible if they launch the next Xbox with a Halo Infinite special edition console.
Really hoping for November 2019 release, similar to Halo 4. Would be nice to get it out before Christmas
I hope they take there times and make this the best game then we could ever imagne. Best of the best in all parts, super campaign, fantastic well designed multiplayer with good original maps and weapons. And other good gameplay and NO copy and paste from other halo versions. Just 100% halo 6. Learned from the mistakes made with halo 5. Rather wait a year then get dissapointed and frustrated like halo 5 is ( and still play it 
) a game that won’t let me stop playing, a game that doesn’t allow me to buy other games. Thats a game i want to see. Please 343 take all the time you need. But deliver a masterpiece!!
I don’t care when it’s released, I just want it to be good. I’d gladly wait until 2020 or beyond if it meant finally being able to play a decent mainline Halo.
I’m still speculating for 2019. Halo 5 was last main title in the franchise, like the Fps Halo game and it was released in 2015. I’m not counting Halo Wars 2 because I feel way more players bought Halo 5 than they would have with Halo Wars 2. So if Infinite is released in 2019, that is 4 years since a Fps Halo title was released. Then if infinite was released in 2020, that would of course be 5 years. Halo 3 being released in 2007 then Halo 4 being released in 2012 that is 5 years. Also I know in between that time we got Halo 3 ODST, Halo Wars, and Halo Reach but I’m counting those like how I’m counting Halo Wars 2, I know Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach were Fps Halo titles but they weren’t the “main” Halo titles like Halo’s 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I’m not sure, I still think it will be released in 2019. However it does still make sense that it could release in 2020 because it’s nothing new for us to have a main Halo title to release 5 years after the other main Halo title.
Im hoping 2019. 2020 is just too dam long, surely that is enough time. But what do I know.

As stated by another user, according to reports it will be an Xbox One title. It’s hard to say when it will release, we need more info from 343i, they only showed an engine demo at E3 this year, which is leading to a lot of speculation. I don’t think we’ll see Halo Infinite until 2020, I would love to be wrong, but with the heavily congested first quarter of 2019, I don’t see Gears 5 dropping before fall / winter next year. Which makes me think fall / winter 2020 for Halo Infinite. It’s just my opinion though.

Hopefully early 2019, but probably not till fall 2019. Then it gives 1 one yr for game development. Fall 2020. Unless they surprise us all with an earlier date.
