Relay, Settler, Ascent

These maps are not on any matchmaking playlists.

Simple question:

Why not?
They’re great maps, Settler is better than Ragnarok, Relay is like a souped up remake of Foundation from Halo 2, and Ascent is just crazy awesome.

why not?
because if they were, you wouldn’t get to play Haven 7/24!

Well right now, I paid for a game with 13 multiplayer maps, and I feel I’m not getting my money’s worth with only 10 of them on playlists, especially when only 4 of them out of that are likely to get voted.

Blame the poor Forge maps in Reach matchmaking. They left a sour taste in the public’s mouth, and 343 does not want people to write off these new maps just because they were made in Forge.

The maps were most likely included as examples of what is possible in Halo 4, and you are still able to play the maps fully in custom games if you really want. They just do not appear in matchmaking.

But thats not true. I liked the forge maps in matchmaking.
It kept things fresh because they didn’t seem to stay in the playlists for more than 2 weeks at a time. I just want new maps to play… -.-

They’re terrible…

Relay certainly isn’t terrible.

> Relay certainly isn’t terrible.

Relay is also far from good. It’s just a doughnut with the most valuable power position being your initial spawn.

Ok how about just more maps? Or are we really stuck with Ragnarok and Haven till december?

Forge will show up eventually, at least they didn’t stick another cage in there
