Due to a problem with the 12/7 patch as well as some other issues, I decided to try reinstalling my game. I have a 30 mbps connection and my original download/install went fine, but for some reason this one has slowed to a crawl at around 100 kbps.
I have ruled out network issues on my end. NAT open, ports forwarded, ethernet connection. Other games run perfectly online and I was able to download two games this morning quickly at 3-4 mbps.
Anyone else having this issue? It would appear to be something on the Xbox Live side of things, but it’s weird that it’s only affected MCC and not other game downloads. Regardless, hopefully this post will make 343 aware of the issue.
