UPDATE VII: At 6:15 PM EST, download is 100% Complete.
Download time was 1 hour, 57 minutes running at a speed of 50 Mb/s, occasionally spiking as high as 75 Mb/s for about a second at random. The game currently takes up 91.6 gigabytes of hard drive, and I had to uninstall 6 different games in order to make room for it. Hopefully it’ll be worth it.
If not… uninstalling it only takes about a millisecond.
It’s over 95 gigabytes and I had to delete 6 games off my hard drive in order for it to fit. I started installation at 4:18 PM EST. Given the size of the download, it will take several hours.
343 Industries, this had better be worth it. I’m hoping the Monitor’s Bounty update has more than a few new REQs; I hoping you’ve addressed the numerous problems with Warzone Firefight, if nothing else.
If that’s not the case, I suppose there’s always the Custom Games Browser, which means I won’t have to suffer matchmaking whenever I’m looking to just have some fun… but seriously, fix Warzone Firefight.
Also hoping they’ll do something about the file size so this thing doesn’t take up as much space as 6 games… especially considering this update will likely add to the problem otherwise. At the very least, I will keep this game on my hard drive until the 2017 update with the classic helmets arrives. If there hasn’t been any serious improvements to the gameplay after that, then I’m deleting this piece of crap again.
Will update this a 25% intervals.
