Reimagined branching BP System

Looking at it from the perspective of being joining the game late or everyone joining at launch wanting to differentiate themselves from eachother I think it would be better to jump off from how the Battle Pass System is done in MCC and make it start at a Core area and branch outward from a larger tree. That way everyone can feel like they’re making meaningful progression toward the gear and cosmetics they’re aiming for while still eventually getting to the stuff they dont. If we just had a standard linear BP system that goes in a line segments, even if we can have our pick from the segments, everyone still has to progress through the same areas and end up looking the same. It’ll result in people seeing people who look a lot like them even a few weeks after the game launches and have a severely lessoned sense of progression as they rank up and earn points for cosmetic unlocks. If you need help visualizing how this would look, any action rpgs or even skyrim on the simpler side of things skill progression systems would be a good point of reference for how it could look on a basic level.
