When i go to a ffa and actually do pretty good, I dont want a giant beacon over my head to attract all of the point whores. I mean if you like regicide, I only do because of the opportunity to use different weapons, then thats fine and dandy. But Id just like a FFA that helps me go for my slayer victory commendation and Id love to avoid team based gametypes at all times.

Looses to guy who went 12-14
…riiiight.
FFA regicide basically penalizes you for doing well, and it really shouldn’t be a FFA game type.
I agree with ya man, and sometimes i just go into these regicide matches to NOT become the king but I end up becoming one anyway, I know it sounds weird but I just cant stand team slayer, barely big team just due to some minor vehicle action.
YES I so should have started this topic. I hate FFA Regicide, every time I’m about to win some guy 30 points behind me runs up with the shotgun or something and kills me winning the match. It’s a good enough game type with teams, but alone it’s just horrible.
It’s been confirmed by bs angel that a regular FFA playlist is indeed being worked on. I believe the confirmation can be found in the Matchmaking forum.

i have to agree the need a regular ffa slayer i got my halo 4 two days ago and was so dissappointed by the lack of a proper ffa that i very nearly returned it right then and said f#$k the entire series as i have with CoD for taking FFA out of the hardcore lobby
I always find it a little sad when we see resurrected posts that are months old saying we should just be patient because the good things are coming soon.
the only reason i posted here now and not sooner is i just got my halo 4 and as well if we can raise awareness about our dissatisfaction of the lack of a good old ffa and we can get enough people to post and say the same thing then 343i will be forced to rectify (fix) their screw up before it leads to the loss of consumers
Due to the nature of the post that brought this topic to the front page and that the issue is now moot considering changes in the past month: locked.
