Are Sentinels going to appear in Halo 4? It does take place on a Forerunner world, and according to all the books, they have sentinels on Forerunner planets. I know Promethean Knights carry a type of Sentinel, but are there going to be regular ones? Do you want to see Sentinels?
Well the shield world likely has other types of sentinels. It would be nice to see some of them, going about their tasks.
Well there is no Flood, but it’s a shield world, so there’s a chance.

Well, We can’t know for certain of course but it would make sense.
I for one didn’t mind them in halo 2 or three, but if I recall they are the construction drones of sorts, so having them on a sheild world wouldn’t make a ton of sense.
I’d love to see them anyway though, I missed the sentinal beam in reach, and the covi sniper didn;t fill the void.
EDIT: Never mind what I said, they’re used to kill the flood. I would say I doubt them to be on a sheild world, but they were on Onyx in ghosts of onyx.
So its a possibility.
