So as alot of us know there is a certain script that is the hot topic right now and I was curios. do any of you regret actually looking at the script and having a big part of the game revealed to you. and do you kind of wonder why 343 would put that in there. knowing that we would decipher every part of that video.
I really dont regret looking at it because I already knew that this would happen but I do question why 343 would add something so spoiling to a video of such.

No because:
Everything in the script we already knew, the weak people with no knowledge of the story are the ones complaining, it’s not a leak, if it was my thread would’ve been locked, 343 wanted people like us to find it, and i’m glad we did.
And it’s not so spoiling, it’s something in there to drive all the lore freaks off course, it’s like an archaeologist putting a dog bone into a pile of dinosaur bones and confusing all the people that dig it up.
The annoying spoilers are the Thursday war spoilers.
I don’t regret it.
It gives more questions than answers. It doesn’t explain much about the plot other than a possible hostile Didact. Nothing else.
It has created many theories and discussions, which I don’t regret taking part in at all.

If anything, it’s made me more excited for Halo 4!
though alot of us knew we would find out some how. I guess it god to find out about our enemy before we play the game. but alot has still not been revealed to us. like for instance the return of the arbiter.
and I guess I will change my opinion on why 343 did that. tough some community members have spoiled it up front for other members. like saying something like this in the title for the thread.

No not really, the way the game plays out hasn’t been ruined yet. I just finally got confirmation of what I knew after seeing the red symbol at the end of the Halo 4 trailer. Second I saw it I knew the Didact was back. I would like to know if the composer is really in this game though, once thats confirmed though I’ll go dark.

Script from Halo 4 has Halsey on it got 0 HATE, -Yoinking!- ZERO, why is everybody singling me out???!??!??!?!??!?!?

Im not pointing out any community members or the mega thread. but more of like members who dont think about it. generally new ones.

but when somebody revealed halsey was on the script nobody cared, but when i say didact is on the script the whole world erupts, they are no different to eachother, they are both on the exact same level of spoil. except we already knew didact was in Halo 4.
I didn’t even notice it in the video, the members here shouldn’t be putting [SPOILERS] in a title then instantly followed by the spoiler, you should put the actual spoiler in the topic so people can avoid it without accidentally reading it.

If you actually follow the story, you’d know that Didact is in Halo 4. That’s all i was doing, i even asked a mod to edit my title to see if it was appropriate, he did, that thread’s title was edited by a mod, not me.

The script was deciphered legally, rationally, and intelligibly from 343i’s very own Halo 4: A Hero Awakens ViDoc. If 343i did not want to risk spoiling what they perceived as large story details, they would not have revealed it in any form at all.
Besides, they were only minute details. Most of us who had read both Halo: Cryptum and Halo: Primordium would have seen them coming. I, for one, will not be going dark until large information is revealed from a third-party source.

nobody went this crazy when Halsey was confirmed via zoomed in script, i don’t know why everybody is going crazy over this, we had reason to believe didact was in the game anyway, this is just confirmation
I’ve been calling on the Didact being in Halo 4 sience I watched the Maw terminal in CEA, so I’m only excited that I was right all this time
