But, can you stay in them? Lagging out of matches seems to be a common occurence for overseas players now, it would appear.
yeah you can find games but the connections are utterly horrible. I can’t take this anymore, shots not registering, delayed throwing of grenades, everything is just messed up for me (playing in Asia), i’m in such a disadvantage playing against Americans.
WHY CANT 343 JUST IMPLEMENT A REGION SELECT FEATURE INSTEAD OF HAVING TO RELY ON WHETHER THEY SHOULD LOCK OR UNLOCK REGION. IT WOULD BE BETTER IF A PLAYER CAN SELECT WHAT REGION HE IS PLAYING ON. THAT IS JUST COMMON SENSE WTF.

yes its true that the situation isnt good as it is but you have to understand that before they removed it I actually couldnt play… at all.
For me the removal of region lock is a good thing.
An option is essentially the same as region lock, people who don’t normally have a problem will chose to be locked into their own region leaving those who were having problems early still having problems finding matches. I am in one of those regions where I never have issues finding matches, rarely now do I experience lag (this game still seems better about lag to me than destiny, maybe not as good as Titanfall), but I think an option would have been the same as having region lock.

Nah mate I can confirm we are still having the same issues finding games. If it has been lifted, it’s certainly had no positive effect for me.

Yes we can find games fast but the games are unplayable due to the latency.

This is what I have experienced a lot today. I hit the grenade throw button and my arm moves forward, comes back and grabs his gun. Then, and only then, do I see my grenade appear.
I’m from Illinois with a wired connection (125 Mbps download, 25 Mbps upload and a ping with single digits locally and under 30ms to most Servers). I am running into an insane amount if teleporting players too. This may sound selfish but I am not concerned with others finding matches. I expect to be able to play without lag. I’d like the option to search for my region only because its getting ridiculous.
