Since the update, finding games has improved! But I still have very long search times.
FFA I cant find games at all.
- Deathbox 0 - Europe, Sweden - All day - More or less every Arena playlist, usually play Arena or Slayer - I can usually find games when I’m searching with one or more friends, but I can never find any game when searching solo.

A number of EU players (particularly British) are placing plat/diamond in ffa when they end up very high onyx at the end of the season.
After 4 month not playable MP in Europe were you did NOTHING, you can stop doing anything, because nobody plays it anymore, -Yoink- YOU!

I stopped playing Halo before the region lock, because the weighting on American servers in a game was too much, the delay is outrageous and overall just unplayable.
Would it not be possible to implement some sort of system like Halo 3 had? Where we can choose to search for a good connection based on our locale?
Yes we find games faster now, but why even bother when it’s not enjoyable playing with a 190+ ping every single game?
What about updating your servers? The gameplay is still laggy as of 10 minutes ago. I literally watched a guy lag all the way across the Torque map. It blows my mind how after each update the servers are actually worse than before yet 343 tries to leave us with the impression that they are doing everything to improve gameplay!!!

RIP H5 Matchmaking, everyone but the Americans will leave this game behind now - guaranteed.
If region lock has really gone I think I may end up finally saying goodbye to this game. I just can’t handle the latency and lag issues.
Although this is great for players in low population areas, I think it was a poor choice to open US when they were fine playing with other US players.
343, I think you should implement the same search preference system from Halo 3 (Search for a good connection or search for a fast game), OR keep the US region locked.
We need region lock to keep the game alive, however if not every player is suffering these region issues then those regions should remain locked.

I need some help from the developers with my account on this game. Anon2014xX is my gamertag. I was sent here by xbox live in regards to my account. Ingame for the last 3 days it shows me at lvl 1 and 0 REQS. For nearly a week I have not been able to play due to yalls messup. Some help would be appreciated since I paid nearly 500 dollars for this game and the exclusive Halo 5 xboxone edition. I have got nothing but the run around from xbox live and was directed here. Please help!!!
I went away because of no region lock. I came back because region lock was on so ping was great and actually had some decent games where I wasn’t getting shot around corners and people killing my shadow. Which has been massively noticeable recently so this freaking explains everything! I also came back for Achilles but if we’re going back to less than 10 kills a game but 20+ assists and nearly the same amount of deaths… good bye.
Thank you to all those giving bs feedback saying how you don’t mind playing on 190ms+ connections because you don’t understand PING! You’ve ruined it for everyone else outside the US of A.
RIP Halo 5, you had a chance but 343i are INCOMPETENT through to their thick skulls. It’s not your fault you have Neanderthals hammering at keys behind the scenes who don’t understand the definition of “fair”, “balance”, “competitive”.

Well since your update I can’t find any games in any playlist well there goes playing halo 5 for me 
I don’t get the beta connections were perfect I don’t know why you changed it

Exactly same story for me, couldn’t agree more. Connections now are ABSOLUTELY UNPLAYABLE for Europeans, and Americans are on Lan.
