Additional Info: I have played 1 game of ffa this season, simply impossible to find a game at high level onyx. With arena and slayer it either takes 20 minutes to find a game or we play the same 4 people over and over again. Region lock needs to go.

This issue has grown exponentionally since the patch in January for UK players. From what I can see this only REALLY applies to players of Diamond level upwards in all Arena playlists (smaller pool I guess) and its gotten so bad at this point, that no matter what time I try to play, it just wont find me a game and tells me there arent enough players playing.
I can only assume the problem has steadily gotten worse because people less patient than myself have already given up. This means that I am and currently have been since the start of March’s Arena Rank reset, been physically unable to obtain any Arena Ranks. Why should this ever be the case? Why am I currently sitting on March 30th, a few days before April, a whole month after the Ranks Reset, still without a Rank because the Region Lock prevented me from finding any games at all.
Furthermore, if I have an American in my party who is clearly based in the States prior to searching, there are no issues at all. In fact, it takes seconds to find a game, something us UK players REALLY REALLY enjoyed when H5 was released up until January 2016 when you changed it all. Now we dont even get to enjoy complaining about wait times anymore, we simply cannot find games, and I shouldnt have to tailor my life around when Americans will be online just to play in Ranked Playlists, thats just not okay and frankly isnt unreasonable for the price I paid for this game and the continued service which by the way, was the exact same base price we all paid.

This game has become virtually unplayable because of the laggy gameplay due these crappy servers. Before the update if I played late at night the gameplay seemed to improve and I experienced less of lag. Since the update all I see is people teleporting all over the map and disappearing behind me for the kill of course. My radar doesn’t show any enemies half the time and when it does it just shows red dots teleporting all over the place. I pay 100 dollars for the best internet in my area and get download speeds over 200 Mbps on my Xbox One. I am 100% sure that my internet is not the problem because I only experience laggy gameplay with Halo so with that I say please FIX YOUR CRAPPY SERVERS!!!
I’m sick and tire of being restricted to playing in one region. too many people in my region looks at my xbox gamer avatar and call me racial remarks.
I want to play international because diversity is bliss…

Any additional details: I’m unable to find games in ffa during the afternoon and can only play that playlist during the peak hours. When I play a slayer game I sometimes just get disconnected. Most trouble I have are with the REQ servers that are offline quite a lot.

Basically everything but WarZone which I don’t care about. Team Arena is impossible to find games in at non peak times which is why I haven’t been playing Halo as much recently.
I really hope region lock gets removed. It’s killing
the EU Halo community. Halo 5 matchmaking was fine till this decision.
At least give us the option to CHOOSE which server location we want to search in or the ability to turn on and off region lock when we want to search for games.

Feel like the servers are getting worse lately.
My netduma shows I’m connecting to East Coast US servers. Has the lock been reduced? In FFA it’s consistently East US which makes at least one guy impossibly laggy. After connecting to East US for FFA I seem to stay there for all game modes. Onyx 1620 in FFA, plat 3 the others lol.
I see rubbed banding, teleporting, invincibility…and let’s not forget the crash that causes frozen power ups and game death.

European Players have been region locked since the February update, and now only match EU pllayers. Combine this with the MMR restrictions, and you can never find games in Arena unless High EU Champions are searching.
I also can’t find any games in SWAT or Breakout, and I haven’t even finished my placement matches.

Region lock is part of the problem

It’s been pretty much impossible to find a game since the lock, hence I’ve completely stopped playing. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed H5 those first few months. I also enjoyed playing against some of the NA pros in FFA etc, which is now impossible. Outside of NA, the game is dead.
