I have really been enjoying halo 5 lately and am looking forward to ghosts of meridian ( even if it is just a req dump ).
There is one huge problem for me in the EU that is stopping me from being able to playā¦ Region lock.
I ( try to ) play halo 5 ever day at 5.00am to 8.00am but I never find a match in anythingā¦ everā¦ not even warzone untill it is 7.30am.
I love this game so much and am on a mission to get every REQā¦ but because of region lock and never being able to find a match, I might not be able to.
I know that many people in the EU agree with me and also complain about thisā¦ so please, please remove region lock this update 343.
So that I can actually find a match when I play.Great game though!

My fireteam size was only me, and every match I went into, my hit registration was visibly delayed with grenades, and players were constantly teleporting around the map in every match I tried. It was enough lag for me to throw grenades and later see them thrown. I took xbl recordings of incidents and they can be seen on my feed. When I checked my network during the games on my phone the ping was 60 and 40 mbps down 6 mbps up. When I checked on my Xbox after the matches it was 40 ms ping

i was recently able to find some BTB games since the new maps were introduced but until that no games were found. Can only find breakout if Iām searching with a party of four but itās incosistent and you donāt always find games. FFA and warzone Assult has no chance to find any games the last time I played those playlist was in the first week the game was released. Also search times for team arena and team slayer have become bad it takes about 15mins to find games. Itās really frustrating it feels like MCC all over again I just wanna play Halo.

Havenāt been able play BTB since early February the only time I get a game is late at night.i sometimes get a game of warzone but that is it.

Only consistent playlists are normal slayer, grifball and normal warzone. Fiesta worked when it was there. Other than that fail to get anything from any other match.

I can safely say that matchmaking for this mode doesnāt work in Australia. Iāve tried to find a match morning, noon, and night on just about every day of the week, but it times-out on each and every attempt. Iāve searched the web for answers, but from what Iāve read, the only solution is to join a U.S. host. Itās a shame 343 seem to be ignoring this issue.

@beastlyepiclama I was baiting with that last part. This thread just seems like another one to add to their list. This issue in my region has been apparent since launch.

Playlists : have difficulty with most arena playlists. Almost impossible before midday. Ffa is the worst almost never get one, Warzone is best but again before midday things are impossible
Other: if I play with Americans and people from uk , they can usually find games

-Additional details : Im unable to find matches in any playlist on my own, the only way I can play in the morning is to hope some of my friends in other regions are playing and join their lobby.
I think its pretty clear that Australia/NZ have some serious matchmaking issue considering how many of these replies are Australian. Hopefully 343 can solve this issue

The only way I can find a game at these times is by joining a US fireteam (which then finds a game in seconds). On the rare occasion that I am able to find a game during these times, it usually takes between 4-5 minutes or after multiple searches, and any subsequent matches are then usually against the same players faced in the previous game.
