I experienced similar results last night. I found 2 games in 2 hours of searching. 1 Team Slayer, 1 Social Slayer. I’m sure I could have found a game quickly in Team Arena if I was really keen to get thrashed by full lobbies.

In response to this update, and trying this out, I have seen a significant improvement in my matchmaking success at the times I have specified. I have seen little to no lag at all. (In fact, I would say out of my 35 games I have played (of both Warzone and Arena) there was only 1 small moment of disruption, and that’s it). My issues have been fixed. Thank you 343 for this update.

For what I’m seeing now there’s something very strange with netcode/servers.
Not everyone are experiencing the same latency exactly as much as not everyone were experiencing region lock’s problems (not being able to find games) the same way.

currently on holiday in the UK, used a friends Xbox and was able to finally finish my placement matches in FFA, a game type I have lived off in previous Halos.
Cant find A game any time any day on those playlists. Playing those free for all games over here was the most fun I’ve had playing the game, would love to see this fixed.

Apologies, but I don’t think you would. I’ve had almost no games for the past 3 - 4 months. It’s not fun.

Well it’s either 0-x ms latency, or unable to play the game. So when comparing it like that, it’s no bother.

Played 18 games over 2 days only got 2 game on a EU server and most of my games are still being played on Texas servers!!.
The other game where still unplayable because of the latency every other player was moving in a glitch/stuttery way and I was being killed round corners I was also kill by what seems to be less shot than it should take to be killed also some players would rubber band.
I basically seen nope of this while the region locked was on players would move really smoothly 99% of the time.
I get that some player where finding it hard to find games at sometimes of the day but the current state of the game mean it’s basically unplayable 24 hours a day because of the high latency, can we not get the region lock back until you figure out what to do?
So, 343, when will you start offering Aus/NZ players refunds?
Tried to find a game all day today.
The only playlist that finds games is Warzone.
Tried BTB, Slayer, Arena and SWAT. Been trying from about 10am Sydney time until 3:45pm.
Haven’t found a single arena game.

Team Arena - So much lag I couldn’t even walk without teleporting back and forth until someone killed me. This happened in many matches and along with longer search times, has become much more common.

Seriously 343, until you changed the region lock for UK and whoever else, the vast majority of replies were from Australian players, and you have still done nothing to improve our experience, instead it is on a continual downward spiral.

It’'s happening to all EU players. They turned the region lock off, so we’re cannon fodder for Americans again
Turn the region lock back on for those who can find matches ie people in the EU and help Australia etc who still can’t . I don’t care about these"pros" whining on twitch they can’t play FFA 12 hours a day.
