yeah it seems to be gone because everyone of my matches is complete garbage now. I mean i feel bad for non-US players but screwing over US players isn’t the answer.

I play on Japan servers. I teleport everywhere and my Power Level is over 9000.
Yeah its gone could feel it straight away warzone unplayable. Hope all the people who complained now notice after playing on E.U servers for weeks. Game will probably die in E.U now.

I hope so I missed playing Americans they tend to be on the mic more. Barely any one has been on the mic for a while and the majority of the time they don’t speak english.
I never seemed to have an issue with lagg american players being in the uk

Finally, having the region lock in the first place was a retarded idea! I can now search for matches at anypoint during the day without having to worry about the time, as any point after 10pm in the UK the game became a ghost town.

Omg you people piss me off you complain about matches being laggy so they add region lock they you complain about not being able to find a match and that you would much rather play a laggy match than not be able to find one period so then they remove it and you complain about it again really people really. all they need to add is something that tests the connections with the server and each other so it knows if you will lag or not. That way you wont find laggy matches and you will still be able to find matches slightly outside of your country. Its funny really everyone was complaining that region lock was added and now everyone is complaining. Please tell me how 343 can possibly know what to do.

Just add server selection problem solved.
I think you will find that there are 2 different sets of ppl, however the most intelligent solution would have been to resolve this issue for both parties would have been an intelligent matchmaking system where players have the option to select servers or simple options such as prefer ping or fast search time. Clearly 343i and yourself aren’t intelligent enough to comprehend these simple requests that have been posted on these forums for months.
A simple example for the mentally challenged:
During peak hours: I want to be able to either a) select the best server by ping or b) automatically be connected to the server with the lowest ping to ensure low latency gameplay.
During off-peak hours: if there are no games available on my preferred local server, then I want to be able to either a) select a server with fast search times outside of my locality and still best ping available or b) automatically be connected to the next best server location after the initial search time to my local server has failed.
Perhaps this explains the sudden lagging out
Im in Australia and couldnt find FFA or BTB since January, but now i can because they reomived region lock. Deal with the lag, i play with my American company(PartyUpGaming) all the time and the lag isnt that much so stop complaining and deal with the tiny amount of lag
