I might have to quit after 10 long years of being a halo player. I just moved to japan and now I know why halo isn’t popular overseas! It’s because of the extreme amount of lag connecting to an american host brings, and we play americans 98% the time. I have only been pair’ed with people from the country I am currently in twice.
Me and many other “foreign host halo players” would really REALLY benefit from a region filter implemented. The best connection I have had in 200 halo 4 games would be about 1 full fat second of registration lag. (That means it takes a full second to register anything you do, movement, grenades, shots, etc.) Kill times are just over that, and with Halo 4 for some reason when your spartan gets moving too fast (falling, grav lifts, thruster pack, etc.) the game doesn’t even know what to do with itself and skips you back and forth and forth and back. It is damn near impossible for any of us to play up to our expectations.
Please 343… I love halo… I want to keep playing, and giving you all my money : )
