I know but I’d love to try it in H5 with the advanced movements etc like we got to do for oddball

I don’t think regicide was that well received… But I agree that it would be neat too see it in a rotational playlist.

Headhunter was great. My sqaud would sneak up on easy kills and grab all the skulls after a huge fight. We were always sneaky about it.

Maybe my favorite gametype innovation of Halo 4’s was Extraction. I wish we were playing that in HCS instead of StrongHolds. Regicide was kind of neat too I thought tho.

headhunter was crazy during multiteam. Complete and utter chaos and a game could change on a dime. So much fun

Halo 4 introduced several really good modes and Regicide, or specifically Team Regicide, was definitely one of them. It was basically a much better version of Halo 3’s VIP mode.
I also really liked Extraction, Dominion, Ricochet, and Action Sack’s Mini-Slayer.
Extraction shares some similar game-play elements and strategies from King of the Hill. In my opinion, one site Extraction can be a very competitive 4v4 or 2v2 mode; in fact, I’d say it’s the ideal non-slayer mode for a Doubles playlist.
Ricochet was basically a faster paced 4v4 Neutral Bomb Assault mode that included throwing the ball/bomb for a partial score. I love and prefer Neutral Bomb Assault for Big Team Battle, but for 4v4 I preferred the Ricochet mode instead.
Dominion was a type of evolution of the 3-Plot/Stronghold mode into a specialized Big Team version with bases and fortifications. I kind of hope Halo 6’s Warzone blends more aspects of Dominion into it.
Mini-Slayer was just a really cool and fun Action Sack mode.
I never really found FFA Regicide to be fun. It was annoying being King because it was basically just trying to hide until you got the overshield and damage bonuses. And then it was implemented into regular FFA, so I had to play it when I just wanted to play regular FFA which was also annoying. BTB Regicide was okay, but I don’t miss it.

I really loved Regicide. I played it quite a bit in the Halo 4 days.

Yes, please. It seems like the logical evolution of warzone and really hope we see something like it.

I was never over the moon about regicide FFA but I still miss it. Team regicide is such a great mix of the straightforwardness of slayer but still flows like an objective game. I would love to see it be part of a playlist like the late team skirmish.
Headhunter is sort of a crapshoot, but I’d love for it to replace some of the -Yoink- we have in action sack.
Regicide was was fast and insane, especially on simplex.

That’s why I want it back even just for a bit cause it was crazy and fun even just on a social playlist
I’ve been saying this since H5 launched that Regicide and Headhunter would be great for this game with abilities, etc. it’d be pure, wild, fun.
There hasn’t been much PWF in this game unfortunately.
Regicide would be a great addition to the future Halo titles as would Headhunter. They’re both FFA modes so it would give solo players more to play then just Slayer.
Also I would love to see Medal Madness come back in 5 or beyond.
I was thinking it would be cool if some kind of VIP or Regicide gametype got put into Extermination. Kill the VIP/King three times in 1 round or something.
