One of my favourite emblems out of all emblems in the history of Halo has got to be the fancy-looking Kingslayer emblem. To unlock this rare gem, you must complete Regicide Mastery, which includes the Commendations;
Regicide Victory
Kingslayer
Executioner
I have finished the Kingslayer commendation, but can anyone share a few tips with me on completing Regicide Victory and the Executioner commendations?
IMO the Regicide Victory Commendation takes TOO many games to complete, and Executioner takes way too many king assassinations. It’s already hard enough trying to assassinate the king in a hectic, crazy FFA environment.
I know that it’s supposed to be hard to achieve, but does anyone think that it is a little too hard? I wish that 343 had made some Commendations harder to achieve, but some unlocks easier to unlock. I probably won’t have enough time to complete Regicide Victory and Executioner…
The only thing you can do is play how you normally play. nobody claimed it would be easy to get.

I guess I’ll just have to exclusively play Regicide now…
Also don’t go out of your way to get assassinations on the king. You might find that by doing so you sacrifice your chances for a victory. :x

Regicide Victory is easier than Executioner, so I say he should go for the Executions first and worry about Victories later.

Yeah but focusing on assassinations could get him killed where he would have instead maybe picked up a few kills himself. I say just play normally and let them come to you.
Stay low when around the King. If you have the Stealth armor mod, it’ll help assassinating the king.
P.S. Also I have been noticing the amount of Kings in the playlist use Promethean Vision, so that is also why I recommend it.
Whenever I try to just go for assassinations on the king, it never happens. They either turn around or they get killed before I can do it. Usually, it happens when I’m in the right place at the right time which is few and far between.
I’d say it’s best to do it when you’re playing bad people and when there are a lot of people near the king. That will keep the king occupied while he doesn’t notice you coming up from behind.
