Regicide used to be a fun playlist for the casuals like myself, but now, because of the tournament, it’s full of try-hards running around using DMRs and BRs.
Can’t wait until next Monday when I can go back to enjoying my favourite playlist again.
Lol, i stopped playing regicide cause every game has at least half the players carrying a boltshot. Regicide was boring a long time ago
Darn, I liked assassinating the people who go in parties to assassinate each other.
I didn’t even try to play regicide because of that infinity challenge.

See 343i, this is why there should be ranked/social playlists! So the tryhards can go to a certain place and the players who want to kick back and play casually have a place of their own.

Exactly.
I’ve been trying to get my Regicide - Execution commendation and plasma pistol kills in the playlist but at the moment it’s impossible. As soon as you drain someone’s shield with the PP or begin assassinating them someone steals the kill with a DMR.
I’ve stopped playing for now and will go back to it on Monday.
I’m currently enjoying the BTB playlist for a change 
I stopped playing regecide and I play team regecide now, its a bit better

Yeah seriously, I hate Regicide. I’ll admit I enjoyed it when the game first came out because everyone was a noob playing it but now, it’s just a cheap gametype. Just the idea of having a waypoint over the leaders head at all times ruins the game for me. I actually went back to Halo: Reach playing Rumble Pit because it’s my favorite gametype ever since Halo 2.
Hopefully they will have a true FFA playlist in a few months because right now, with Rumble Pit and Team Doubles missing from the game, it really doesn’t hold my interest in playing it right now.

I know, I almost always go negative cause the minute I become king I keep getting pounded from all directions, I dont even have enough time to let my shields recharge.
What I hate the most is when i +15 and come in second to that one AR user that has 12 regicides.

Yep, that’s another thing that’s wrong with this gametype. Where there is an outcome that exists that allows a person to go completely negative AND have less kills than the 2nd place or any placed opponent for that matter to still win that game. A person can just go strictly for the King the whole game and win because of it. Not my cup of tea.
FFA Regicide has always sucked.
I just hate so many people carry a Boltshot.

Yeah, but Headhunter was like that in Reach.
You could do awful all game then kill someone with 10 skulls near the drop off point, pick them up and score, winning the game with a Skullamanjaro. Nobody seemed to mind then.
Wait til nxt week, they will use KOTH or Dominion… I switched to Dominion cause they used the CTF for the tourney… BS/AC users every corner, good fun. Tried going back, seems that people find that these methods keep their K/D high, so why change?
I thought regicide was pretty fun today for a change. I was running about with my assault rifle and frags having a blast. I encountered more DMR users than normal however at close range on haven then I believe the advantage is mines.
I remember jumping into a boosting match (boosting King Assassinations) and winning. Lol it was priceless.
But yeah, Regicide got real old about 15 matches later. I don’t like the idea of a waypoint over the kings head. The second I become one I just get turned into swiss cheese.
It’s really not that bad. I’m not the best player, but I won both of the games I’ve played today with just the AR.
