just wondering if anyone would like to see regicide return in H5 i personally loved regicide in H4 and am hoping that 343 considers it for H5
As awesome as the gamemode would be in H5, it’s far too late now. I can only hope that Halo 6 can deliver on our wishes.

I personally liked Team Regicide, but that’s just because I’m not a fan of FFA gametypes. Also, although it’s late in the game, they did recently add Oddball.
I loved regicide would be happy to see a return
BEEN asking for this for ages hopefully it comes in H6 as I don’t feel we will be getting much more from H5
I’ve noted that Halo has had the same game type just re-branded over the years… with some alterations here and there.
For instance, in Halo 2, 3, and Reach, you had Territories. In Halo 4, you had Dominion, which was pretty much territories by a different name.
In Halo Reach, you had Invasion. In Halo 5, you have Warzone Assualt, which is pretty much the same thing, but by a different name.
In Halo 3, you had VIP. In Halo 4, you had Regicide, which was pretty much the same thing. In Halo 5, I believe the equivalent will be Oddball. =/
But, yes, Regicide was a fun gametype. I did enjoy it.

Let’s not forget about HeadHunters… That was a freakin’ fun and awesome playlist.
That’s one thing that Halo 5 is lacking. Options. Since populations have dropped, they should combine a few of the playlists. Since clearly they can’t have ALL the great playlists available for this declining population.
It would be great to see the lobbies have these game types.

Team Snipers
Doubles
King of the Hill
Capture the Flag
Oddball
Regicide
Head Hunters
I mean, there were so many different game types. Heck… Even if they combines a couple of them in a rotating playlist, that would be great. Just call it “Team Objective”, and have KotH, Oddball, Regicide, & Head Hunters cycling through.
I know it’s been three years since post date, but I really miss Regicide. I hope it comes back next game.

Legit Headhunter was such an awesome mode. I’m sad we haven’t seen a new rendition of it since Reach.
As for Regicide, I think it’ll be cool as a featured playlist every now and then. I remember enjoying it a fair bit back in the day.
