Regicide CSR, how does it work?

Can someone who understands the ranking system please explain Regicide ranking to me.

This isn’t a whine thread, I’d like to know how it works so I can adjust my play style. So my starting CSR is 36, then I have these results in Regicide and my finishing CSR is 36.

CSR 36

CSR 36

So in 76% of the games I’m in the top 2 players. My 3rd places aren’t too bad points wise, 280, 260 and 250. Then 2 poor 4th places. Why has my CSR remained at 36, I would have thought 76% top 2 finishes would have pushed that up.

Thanks for your time.

I guess no-one understands the ranking, oh well, I’ll just play on blindly.

Well you not winning the games so you’re not going up, but you’re also not losing the games so you’re not going down.

FFA’s can be brutal to rank up in, just having to win every time makes things infinitely harder.

Thanks for the reply. I’d assumed a top 2 would count positively, rather than having to get 1st all the time.

You shouldn’t have to get first to rank up. The CSR is calculated exactly the same as for rumble pit. The trouble is, if you’re consistently getting put in games with low rank players, you may need to come first to rank up.

Coming second means losing to 1, and beating 6 (is it 8 players in regicide?). If they are all CSR 10, losing to 1 CSR10 may well negatively affect your rank more than the positive effect of beating 6 CSR10s. Hence you’ll derank in 2nd.

I’m currently CSR 25 in Regicide and I have to say that I LOVE REGICIDE! if you guys havent tried it yet go try it, it is really fun and hectic sometimes!
