Has anyone achieved the Regicide challenge yet (That is without cheating, which i will clarify as using a whole party to fill the game and getting without actually playing competitively)?

Mathematically it is possible but holy moly its freaking hard.
There are 300 points in a game.
Minimum points for a Regicide is 15 points.

Therefore mathematically, you get 18 kills x 15 points gives 270 points.

This means you have a leniency of 30-60 points (winner can be on 295 and get final max regicide of 35 points). So basically you can’t afford the king to get above the minimum points more than about 5 times and you cannot kill ANYBODY else in the game to get this.

So does anybody else think this is a completely ridiculous challenge to complete in a legitimate fashion.

And before anyone says just cheat and get your mates in, its kinda hard when BO2 dropped today

i have. i found that the challenge is glitched. it says in a Single match, however, any regicide you get carries over to the next match. which is how i got mine. i got a few regicides one game, and about 2-3 games later it said “Challenge Complete”. almost everyone i’ve talked to didnt know this or hasn’t bothered trying

Are you sure your not talking about the 80 regicides altogether? there are 2 regicide challenges, i’m talking about the single match one
It says get 18 in one game.
I have played about 6-8 games. I have about 40 regicides in the other challenge (get 80 in one week) but i still haven’t completed the one i’m talking about, and i still think its practically impossible

Ok, maybe its just glitched or they typoed it in the challenge menu. Hoipefully i’ll unlock it soon :slight_smile:

Hmmm. So I played Regicide today to see about these challenges. I really dislike playing Regicide. That is about all I know/understand at this point. I too could not figure out how this was possible.

It glitched for me, so I got it with getting 10 regicides. I played a good amount of games until it glitched though. I think it is a typo.

Hmm I wondered about this as well. If it is glitched I will give it a shot. Certainly they wouldn’t offer such a mediocre reward if the seriously intended us to get 18 Regicides in a single match.

Well i am only achieving 9 regicides at most in a game, because even though its mathematically possible, you have to let a king who’s on a rampage to eventually get overtaken, then take him out asap, but then the game ends too quickly as other players who are just going for the win, win.

winning score needs to be bumped up, to say 400, or the challenge needs to be dropped to like 12-15.

I will have to try it again tonight. To an exam, I ride!
