Regarding the Unicorn 'Ice' Skin

In the most recent community update two new skins were showcased, The Unicorn ‘Fire’ skin and The Unicorn ‘Ice’ skin. One question regarding the Unicorn ‘Ice’ skin is how players from other countries and timezones get it without having to stay up till certain times or change a schedule. I really want both of these skins and will definitely try to get both but i don’t want to have to line up my timezone with the timezone of where the 343i headquarters are located. Is there going to be times for different countries (me being in Australia) set up so we can face 343 in the next playlist added into rotation? Thanks!

You might have to change up your schedule. Or they may address the times for.differemt countries. Hopefully they do, wouldn’t be fair if they didn’t

Yeah i might have to change up my schedule which i really don’t mind doing but it would just be a hassle, hopefully they do address the times but i wouldn’t blame them if they couldn’t.

Last time they did one of these social things I didn’t see any one brag about playing with a 343 member.

Beyond the issues of regions and time zones is that of skill-matching.

Specifically, what level are the 343 accounts? How do players match them if they are not a similar rank?

To me, custom games are the way to go for these types of promotions.

Do you mean as in like Bronze-Champion rank or SR? Because im pretty sure this is gonna be a social playlist and you can match up against any SR

To the best of my knowledge, hidden Matchmaking Rating (MMR) still applies to social playlists making it less likely for players of different skill to be matched against one another.

> Unicorn “Ice” Skin – This skin will be awarded to players we play with/against during 343 Community Playdates. So for example, last week a few 343 teams ventured into Matchmaking in conjunction with the Team Doubles refresh and had some great games against some of you in the community. We logged those games so if you happened to match with us, you’ll get this skin very soon. We’ll be doing another playdate next week when the next rotational playlist comes out and sometimes we’ll just play pre-arranged customs against community groups. Soon we’ll put together a more standard and recurring schedule to give you a heads up on how you can be a part of these Halo 5 sessions.

The thing with these “playdates” is that when they’re happening, I’m busy doing important work so I can’t get the cool stuff :frowning:

They don’t have a set schedule yet, but judging by past examples, they do them every couple of weeks.

Ske7ch and Uny pls read. In the new community update article BURN BABY BURN is it me or did you guys not metion the next community playdate for our chances to get the ICE skin. I read that thing like 3x to make sure i didnt miss in my first 2 reads but WTheck. When is the next community playdate?
