I apologize for my lack of knowledge on the subject, but I would appreciate it if anyone could help me solve this little nit-picky problem of mine.
I never visit this site, thus I don’t fully know where to go to be in the know and I was just wondering if the Avatar shirt will appear as an unlockable Avatar Award for Halo Waypoint on the Console version.
The problem is that I’m a bit of a completionist, and I would hate to miss out on this Avatar Award only to find out that it will forever be unobtainable and locked on my list.
I show concern because I’m not so sure if getting to CSR-35 will be as realistic as it should be. I’ve been playing all day and I’m currently at CSR-11. I’ve had some great games and majority of them were wins and I was dumbfounded when I had discovered that I went from a 13 to an 11 after those wins.
I very much understand the ranking system, which is why I’ve come to the conclusion that playing the way that I have been playing might not net me anything past 25, considering the fact that the game is only throwing people of lesser ranks at me.
I would rather just not worry about the ranks and play for the sake of it, but this is still at the back of my mind so I figured I’d bring it here. Plus, I don’t really like restricting myself to the DLC playlist knowing that I won’t be getting anywhere because honestly it isn’t as fun as it could be. I’ve played Slayer on Perdition so many times, and I fear Swat and Snipers. I just don’t like those gametypes…

From what I’ve read, both the award for the Castle DLC playlist and the award for Spartan Ops today will be sent via xbox live message with a code on or around June 1st. I read that in the Halo Drop Shock Week announcement prior to the recent weekly update.
I really hope that is the case. If not then I guess I’ll just have to hope I get lucky or something. I’ll search for this announcement, and I appreciate the response.
I just realized that they are also giving away other Avatar items via e-mail through specific challenges. I guess the CSR-35 one is just like those then?
As long as the Raider DSTT Helmet is the last new Award listed, which leaves a current count of 17 obtainable awards, and it remains that way then I will be fine.

Agreed, I have had some awesome games in this playlist and I am almost always top or near top of the leaderboard and I am STILL at ten. Ive been playing this non stop and it wont rise and the constant struggle has effected my performance in games. I shudder to imagine a level 50 player’s time and skill invested in this game.
You have until the 22nd to accomplish this feat. Friday will be your best opportunity. You will ‘move’ more for defeating an opposition team that has a high overall CSR.

What I will add is how are we meant to play and get our csr up when it’s so lag ridden that I keep shooting walls and not the enemy?
