I myself have been dying to play swat and team snipers. This game will not last very long if you are going to put core playlists on rotation.
We need ranked ffa, doubles and slayer. Ranked swat and snipers would be perfect, but I’ll take social if they stay permanently. Please listen to your community.

I concur with the statements made, we have the player count to support the separation of at least slayer into its own dedicated playlist. I really hope to see SWAT return as a dedicated mode as well

In an arcade shooter like halo, multiple gamemodes are basically the longevity for players who daily drive the game, add variety for players who dont wanna sweat their butts off everytime they drop into a match, and offer a fun and engaging change of pace from most other shooters. It really can be a haven for most other gamers from the constant stream of sweaty FPS’ers on the market.
Adding player choice in what to play and when to play it will keep long-term halo players and casual players happy and engaged, as well as bring gamers from your competitors over to your platform, where there eyes will be drawn to your marketplace, to purchase your battlepass that never expires and items from your shop (at REASONABLE prices).

I agree completely with this, it’s the reason i’m already burnt out of Halo Infinite and am sticking to MCC until this is sorted out and i can pick what game mode i want to play.
SWAT has been my favorite mode in past Halo games. It’s the favorite mode of most of my friends.
The fact that it is looking like we won’t be able to play SWAT whenever we want, let alone ranked SWAT, is a MASSIVE turn off. I have at least 3 friends that specifically picked up Infinite for SWAT and are under the impression it’ll be added in on the 8th because “How can they not have SWAT? This is just the beta, it has to come at full launch.”
I guarantee they’re dropping off of the game if it doesn’t come as a standard playlist. It’s literally the only reason they play the game.
They’d better add some playlists including swat on the 8th or I’m heading back to mcc this is ridiculous idk why they thought no choice was a good idea. No choice for game modes , no choice for how to play because of challenges and no choice to turn off crossplay so console players don’t have to deal with the cheaters , at least I can choose to play something else.
I’ve been playing swat since halo 3 and I would be/am incredibly disappointed to see it not included at launch. I tried a custom bot match of swat and I absolutely loved it. I want SWAT back in halo permanently but I also want all of the other modes. I personally don’t think these should be timed releases/events for a whole lot of reasons. Please 343, don’t let us down.
I hate to say it, but we probably won’t see any till after the holidays, which in all likelihood is going to severely hurt the game, because they already said everything here is the full launch game. If they were planning to add more modes they would have probably have said something already to ease the anger of the community a bit.
You lucked out there. Some of us can’t even make a Swat variant because custom games are sometimes broken and won’t save or load changes.
“Tactical” Slayer? What is this, CoD? Just call it SWAT.
I don’t think this a mistake at all. I think these are calculated moves to see how much they can get away with.
I’m already disappointed that SWAT isn’t a gamemode already. It’s always been such a unique and fun change of pace from normal halo gameplay.
My hope was that they were simply going to revamp the playlists and add additional modes like SWAT but it seems like these events are going to completely ruin that and that’s even worse considering alot of the challenges for Fiesta made the gamemode downright unenjoyable for me when I was trying to complete them.
I think you are dead on with this. They don’t have the content to support it, so it’ll be a drip feed until they have more.
I’ve noticed that. Sometimes between games they wouldn’t spawn bots or the settings would reset even though they hadn’t at the menu. Hopefully you’ll get to play real swat soon 
Nope. This game has been in the oven for 6 years. They’ve also been given plenty of feedback in the flights regarding many of the issues still present. Players have every right to be angry now. Now’s the time to slowly turn up the heat on em.

I loved SWAT, I agree it needs to be a core playlist. Or, at the very least give us separate Slayer and Objective playlists for regular and BTB. I’m sick of just having quick play.
I don’t really play SWAT. I only played it because matchmaking sets it.
Unfortunately, I haven’t played in a week, and am staying away until playlists get fixed. Still hard to believe we have 9 more months to wait for Forge 
When I bought my Xbox this summer the only game I started playing was Halo 5 and was predominately SWAT. Please bring it back as a full time playlist
