I love how you all are complaining about the fact that ranks will not be reset on launch, saying that it’s unfair that some players will have DMRs, BRs, Resupply, etc. while the majority of players have ARs and Magnums, but where were you when 343i announced unlockable weapons?
The fact that weapons unlock is completely stupid, and I’m amazed at how many people didn’t realize this originally. Now you’re all complaining because a few hundred people will have access to better guns, Specializations, and Armor Abilities because they got the game early.
I will be sticking with Slayer Pro until I unlock several different items, then I’ll jump into Infinity Slayer or one of the other Playlists.
Have fun with your ARs, and remember, 343 made the weapons unlockable.
> Most players who supported the weapon unlocks, myself included, expected something like this to be fixed with a rank reset.
Even if this deals primarily with initial rank resets, I believe that the idea of unlockables that affect gameplay are unfair in their very nature and should not be included in any game aiming towards a competitive atmosphere.
BR and DMR are level 1 weapon as far as i know. Most primary weapons are unlocked by lvl 5. Thats literally less then an hour of play time lol. Relax. Finish spartan ops week 1 missions and youll have most primary weapons unlocked already.

They are unlocked at SR-2, while others weapons like the Carbine & the Light Rifle is unlocked in the SR20s+.

I’m not complaining. You clearly didn’t read the OP.
I’m laughing at all the people who are complaining, because of the reasons above.

The problem is that its not really that drastic in halo 4, its not even close to how it is on COD (yet that game is still in competitive circuits). By lvl 10 you have every primary weapons and enough perks to have your perfect loadouts. LVL 10 is very quick, finish spartan ops, mabye 1 hour of infinity multiplayer and you are there. People are complaining 1-50 takes less then a full day played already lol. 1-50 is where you unlock stuff you need.

Yes wasent too sure about carbine and light rifle, carbine is kinda bad though so it doesent count! Either way you get enough perks by the time you are SR-10 to fight anyone.

I completely understand. As I said in the OP, I will play Slayer Pro for a bit, then jump into other playlists.
This thread is an effort to laugh at those who are complaining.

Im saying they also dont have much reason to complain, like who cant handle 1 win without br or dmr. If they really cant do it, spartan ops is free xp lol.
Don’t worry guys when you play war games you’ll realise how you don’t need all the unlocks to be on an equal footing. Heck I still use the DMR default class a lot . Everything important is unlocked after a few games and by 26 I think u have everything to choose from points permitting. I got to 26 In 7 hours its nit even worth sweating over

what a great idea for a thread. Wish I had enough time on my hands to think up things like this
