Regarding Halo Reach Console Credit Bans

I’ve been at my aunts house all week and I have received a credit ban. My cousin has been using my account (and yes I know that I am responsible and blah blah blah, please don’t go all “lawful good” on me) and he had apparently got banned from credits temporally from quitting on my account, his account and the console itself. He both uses my account and his account. I had a look through my account’s game history and it says that I have only quit one game out of all the online matches I played within the time line it keeps it’s history(which is 2 days but, I was banned today).

Am I taking it that a console ban leaked on my account because, I had my account on their xbox? And also how long do these temp. console credit bans last anyway?
