I don’t specifically know, but I might know where to find out. On Bungie.net, Service Records show the exact amount of credits any player has left before they hit the next rank or max out their bar. Find an Inheritor (unless you already are one?) and check their rank bar.
I have. It doesn’t say. There is no cR value given after Inheritor. It just says Max at the end of the progress bar.

Hang on a second- the question he’s asking is legitimate. A Flying Streak was unhelpful, even insulting. DavidJCobb was the only one who actually offered something useful.
As for me, I’d say not to worry about it. As far as I know, there’s no use for credits after you max out your armory, and “Max Rank” doesn’t show up in your matchmaking profile.
You’ll know when you get there.

OP- when you make Inheritor, you will know it. when that happens, you are maxed.

Wait do you mean once you become forerunner how many cr it takes to get inheriter because its like somewhere between 10 mill and 25mill

Anyway… for those who are a little slow at grasping what I’m talking about… firstly, I am an Inheritor. Thanks for checking out my service record.
Secondly, for all you low ranks who have no clue… when you become an Inheritor, the in-game progress bar still shows ‘Max’ at the end as if it were the next rank. That means there are still cRs to earn after you make Inheritor.
Do you get it now? So, like I said initially… how many cRs are required to max out the progress bar after Inheritor???

The answer is simple: When you are an Inheritor the bar does not move at all so there is no making the bar full.

Have you checked out HaloTracker? It shows 2,500,000 credits to get to Erde-Tyrene in their ranking system. Maybe that’s max rank in the game?

Hmph. It says 0% to Erde-Tyrene. Oh well. I guess I’ll never know unless I get official info from someone directly involved with the game.
I just think it’s weird how nobody seems to know. Thanks for the info though.
It’s just like how when a commendation gets to onyx, you can still rank it up to “max”.
As for the answer: no idea. I’m no where near inheritor
