Refunds for MCC

I would like to know who i should contact to pursue a full refund of my copy of the Halo Master Chief Collection. I, like many, purchased the game almost entirely for the multiplayer experience: i already own all 4 of the games included in H:MCC, and the consoles to play them on; if i want to play the campaigns over, i can and will on their native consoles.

As it stands, I bought the game for myself the day before christmas. Even after the server issues on christmas day were resolved, I’ve had an awful time getting into any matchmaking games. Having spent probably 6-8 hours total in queues ‘searching for players’ i’ve played in a total of 4 online games. This is thoroughly unacceptable. to be a little unnecessarily formal about it, The failures in the game’s matchmaking almost certainly constitute a breach of the implied warranties of fitness for a particular use, and merchantability under the broadly-accepted and implimented Uniform Commercial Code. Frankly, I’m no longer interested in the game unless some assurance can be given that there will be a solution to the match making issues in the next few days. I would rather return the game for a full refund, and re-purchase it once news is given that matchmaking is functioning smoothly, whenever that is.

I would appreciate it if anyone can direct me to an email address or physical address where i can inquire about mailing my game in for a full refund.

thanks in advance.

For all refunds? I have a hard-copy of the game, and the store will not take the game back for anything other than ‘store credit’. I want a real refund from the company responsible.

I’m afraid that’s not likely to happen. The store you bought it from is the one to refund you. You’re asking for a full retail refund from a company that did not sell your copy of the game to you or the retailer at full retail price.

If the store will only refund you in store credit, then that’s what you’ll have to go with.

The company did, however, ship a non functioning product to mass-retailers that do not necessarily specialize in that product, which is why warranties of fitness for a particular use, and merchantability come into play.

lol kids are still trying to do this? they didnt ship a non functioning product. it functioned since release. may not be the way it was intended but it worked with slightly long matchmaking times. The rest of us non-cry babies that are actual fans and waited are now pretty much issues clear. i get MM games in under 20 seconds every single time. i cant complain about that.

as for the refund, you will never get it, so stop making these stupid posts.

That’s a cute sentiment, however I’d like to direct you to my queries regarding implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use. A product shipped by a company mustreasonably fulfill the expectations of an average consumer of the product or it is a breach of that warranty. It certainly seems that timely , accurate matchmaking is a reasonable expectation. That’s not taking into account the persistent issues with hit registration reported by numerous users. The game is certainly broken and while I’m glad your game works, mine, and many others do not. I’d appreciate it if my question were treated with appropriate regard; I am not a “kid” and my worries are fairly well informed.

Of course, the alternative is a patch that actually fixes the problem within a reasonable time frame (the so called duty to fix or satisfy) but seeing as the game has been out for a month and a half and problems persist…

I’m getting audio bugs with the Cut Scenes & Guns in Single Player Campaign in Halo MCC.343 should still compensate everyone till everything is fixed honestly.
