Refund?

So after talking to xbox support forever explaining to them the issues surrounding the Master Chief Collection they told me to contact 343 in order to be granted a refund for my purchase of the game then xbox would honor that and refund me my money. My question is how do i contact 343 support? I do not see a support area, just the forums.

I was told the same thing and I fail to understand why XBox Support would tell me to post to a forum that has nothing to do with the XBox Store, which is where I purchased the game from to ask for a refund. If anyone from 343 is reading this, would you please help us since XBox Support can’t seem to. Thanks.

They just wanted to get you off the line dude. You can only get refunds from them not 343.

I got my refund on the 4th. I tried chatting with support first but was told that hell I’ll just copy it here.

Also, when you download the latest patch of the game, that will actually strengthen the game connection towards Live.- Clarebith: There can be possibilities that you cannot connect to any match-making due to that fact that there are a lot of gamers that is playing the game.- Clarebith: If I may ask, have you tried to play the game at some other time and gets the same issue?- Me: Since launch the same problems have been there- Clarebith: Have you tried to access the game some other time?- Me: I’ve been patiently waiting for the game to get better since Nov 11th. Struggling through the random client crashes, failure to connect parties for customs, extended search times for matchmaking, massive lag in game when a game is finally found just have the game crash at the match complete screen.- Me: All 3 of 343i’s patches have done nothing on my end.- Clarebith: Thank you for all the information.- Clarebith: I have already talked with my Supervisor and I am afraid that we do not have the option to refund the purchased game and we can assure that once the match-making issues has been resolved the game should be working and be good for you to use.- Me: How have others been granted a refund for the game then?- Clarebith: You may have encountered some of them getting a refund, however I can honestly tell you, that based on the recent communication that we have received. Refunding it has been already prohibited as it has been reported that the refund privileges has been abused by most of the customer who purchased the game, Me.- Clarebith: I am totally in your part, however the system does not give us the option to process any refunds as of yet.- Clarebith: We have already received a massive requests for refund and they have received the same response and it has been forbidden.**
    The chat ended with me telling the person that I would not be deterred and off I went to requesting a call from support.
    I got the call and finally got to talk to a guy about all the problems and calmly described my plight and brought up the Very Important One Time Courtesy Refund and explained I had been a member of XBL for a long time. I learned that after about 4 years of having the same account/gamertag your account is classified as having Tenure and that it could make all the difference to getting a refund or being denied.

It’s not abuse when a crap ton of people ask for a refund… it’s a statistic as to how they feel about the $60.00 that they spent to enjoy them selves only to become wholly disappointed. I have nothing but love for the franchise, the memories that I have made with every Halo game, but MCC was/is a disaster. Yes it’s getting better, but I’ve spent considerably more time trying to play it than actually wanting to play.
