i want a refund for this game ive waited over a month to play online and still cant, if i cant play online i dont want this game, i dont want workarounds or anything else but my refund, this is false advertisement and if you dont give me my money i will get a lawyer and you will pay the lawyer fees also im tired of waiting and im not messing around i want my money BACK NOW!!!
Well good luck with the lawyer but you can get a refund by contacting Microsoft support. The chat option is generally the most useful.

I just spoke to a customer service rep at www.game.co.uk who told me if my game is faulty, which it is i am able to return it for a full refund within 3 MONTHS of purchase. Gonna stick round for the 5 beta and if its still not fixed after that i’m getting my money back… Shambles of a game in its current state.

I don’t think you understand what false advertisements are. Also, that’s one hell of a run on sentence.
Weird, I spoke with Game and they told me I can’t have a refund…No one seems to care if it’s broke, so I’m stuck with it… Fifty odd quid wasted

Legally, that’s called “puffery”. same reason you can’t sue a restaurant for saying they have the “worlds best corned beef” or a guy walking around with a t-shirt that says “world’s best dad”. it’s a sales tactic and not legally actionable. Sincerely, you don’t seem to know what you’re talking about and threatening legal action diminishes the credibility of the others seeking a refund for more legitimate reasons.

File a complaint to FTC, start a petition, hire a lawyer. Why do you think EA was sued? Same crap, releasing game that was no where near finished. I mean at what end will developers and publishers learn? Loyal fans will just sit there and endure and hoping things get fixed?
First of all, your paying full money for a complete product not something that is broken or that needs constant fixing. I mean, Microsoft or 343 knows this yet chooses not to do anything about it. I have talked to Microsoft and this is the response I received via chat:

Now, I’m also wishing on the samething HP. However, it seems that the refund for the game has been blocked because of this issue. And we may need to contact the Halowaypoint regarding the issue at hand. I personally was able to do that on my end. And I’d contacted as well xbox, since we’re not allowed to create our ticket for follow up.

I don’t have to have a a full refund but I should feel like Microsoft can make me feel compensated for selling/publishing a game that was broken from day one
Basically, we received box full of $hit. We paid full price and got nothing. So, basically we just deal with it.
This is the norm for developers. We will rush the product, get the money and keep the consumer waiting on the product we promised them. If people don’t have issues wasting $60 then its up to them. But people who work their -Yoink- off to buy this crap, wait in line on release and has to deal with $hit like this, we ban and get our money. Someone has to set example of this. Where is the right of the consumer?
I do want to note, my credit card company has purchase protection and they are refunding my money.
To clarify, my credit card company has opened a case to process refund. I have not been awarded the refund as of yet.
