How to we go about getting a refund if the game isn’t fixed in a timely manner? Many stores that sell games (walmart, gamestop) wont allow you to return video games, and 343 doesn’t have a support website of their own where you can ask for a refund, so how do we return the game? Can someone from 343 plz reply to tell me who to contact for my refund? Thanks.

You have a little time frame for in store returns.

Not for the stores I mentioned you don’t. There is no refund policy for opened games at these stores, although online stores like Amazon I hear do.

This is the internet! The internet doesnt do “patience”! I demand a refund for the game i’ve been playing for 75 hours in the past week!

Yeah, sorry, nah. You NEED to develop common sense. When a product isn’t sold working as advertised, the consumer deserves a refund, 100% of the time

I would be elated if I was able to play even 5 hours in matchmaking or custom games not to mention 75 hours.

Im giving it till Wednesday if after wednesday i cant play well…then… im snapping my disc and giving half to 343 like they gave me a half finished game.

I’m not able playing Single Player or Matchmaking at all but I will wait for this game to get 100% fixed for now it’s just a pointless disc…

don’t do that, you spent 60 dollars on a game and deserve a full refund, especially if you work hard for your money. I’m in the middle of contacting Microsoft game studios support and the BBB.

Refunding a game bought from a retailer (or from the Microsoft Store or Xbox Marketplace for that matter) has nothing to do with 343. Your purchase contract is with the place you bought it, not the developer of the game. If you want a refund, then you will have to deal directly with where you bought it. 343 is just a game developer, and have nothing to do with purchases made from any stores.

Making complaints and demanding a refund on a community forum that 343 employees very rarely visit or post on won’t get you anywhere, you with have to deal with the place you bought the game from.

Every store is refunding for the Halo MCC now because they are all aware that the item is completely broken.

Why are you going to get a refund if you know you’re just gonna buy it again once everything’s fixed? You guys are so damn impatient.

You know, though, it could be way worse. You could have paid $75+ for a single game - rather than $60 for four - and only been able to get less than a quarter of that back the very next day.

Perhaps next time you should rent a game before you buy it.

The reason to return and rebuy is that the price of MCC will have to drop after this launch. I doubt anyone whose heard of the launch is still buying the game. The way that 343 will entice people back and meet their sales projections is a price cut a few months after launch.

Maybe if people would stop posting topics like this, and instead just posted bugs/glitches AS THIS FORUM SECTION IS MEANT FOR, it would be fixed faster.

What you think that creating a thread in the wrong section on a forum has anything whatsoever to do with how long it’s going to take them to fix the game?
It’s not like the guys working on the games and on the patches are sitting there going through forum posts trying to figure out what needs to be fixed instead of actually, you know, working on fixing them. They have community managers that handle all of their forums and social media related stuff.

hey i called Microsoft customer support and got a full refund on my digital copy.
you should do the same.

i will re-purchase this game if and when they get it working as advertised.
