REFUND TIME BYE 343. RIP HALO

I have played since halo CE. I have never been so let down by such a $hitty developer. As of release the game is unplayable. We have had tons of patches of which did minimal improvements and some patchnotes could be considered lies. The most current patch is delayed but the notes are out. The highlight of which is “Lowered the menu music”.

Its almost a quarter year passed and game is still a complete joke. They said the halo 5 beta would not slow the game being fixed. That is complete -Yoink-. On top of that, halo 5 is absolutley -Yoink-, it doesnt feel or move like halo and the maps and graphics are terriable (i know beta but still). Halo 5 is closer to destiny / cod / titanfall than halo 3.

Im starting to get pissed of at 343 defenders saying “be patient it will be fixed” or “do you know how hard it is to make this game?!”

LETS MAKE SOMETHING CLEAR ::

I like most who bought this am a consumer. I dont make or design games, i buy and play them. I dont care how hard it was its their failt for choosing to make halo in such a way.
Why not put it on 4 disks? Why make life complicated for yourself? At the end of the day they decided to do it, not me.

These people released a broken game and sold it to many (some poor -Yoinks!- only bought xbox for it) and charged $60 for it over Christmas. Usualy a review will say if there are problems but in todays world microsoft pay people to say nice things and have review embargos.

The games industry is becoming more like the bank industry every day. Money hungry and selfish as -Yoink-. I for one am done with 343i forever. I got my refund, if you feel cheated do the same its only way they listen.

Dont defend these people, you encourage all games to go this way, to be substandard and a pure and simple MONEYGRAB.

yea its to bad 95% of people who bought this are having a bad experience and the other 5% just got lucky and got these " magic copys" that work perfect right

Sadly many games are released broken now a days. Mass Effect 3 was never fixed completely despite numerous patches over a year period, ultimately the developers gave up and walked away from the game.

Thanks for reposting in comment what SiN wrote, all I saw was a grey empty space where his comment would have been.

I guess after 2+ months of having an unplayable mess, my mind learned to block comments like these out.

im hoping on this reason-wagon. this franchise made microsoft’s xbox what it is today and they’ve been -Yoink!- on it since H3 release.

its an embarrassment and I’m hoping they don’t ruin GoW with the takeover as well…

its not even the games the entire system is faulty… but they just want money and to battle with Ps and all that garbage and were paying for it with crap product.

Did you buy the disc or was it downloaded? MS won’t refund me cause I have the disc. I want my money back.

That’s right Microsoft owns GoW too, I almost forgot. Well that’s another game I can cross off my list of games to get.

Gets you thinking on how bad a company microsoft is to work for when the developers of their 2 biggest franchises leaves them. In this sense Bungie and Epic

95% of the people on this forum are having issues but id say 66% (guesstimating here) of gamers are having little to know issues. I believe its mostly an area based thing because im in iowa and all my friends are barely having any issues. Probably wrong but thts the way it seems

This is not a knock on you XxCorey117xX, but if that’s the case that it’s by area we are in worse shape as a community. For me it does’nt work wether I am in Brooklyn NY or in Montreal CA, Yes I live in both. Both are very populated area’s and I know for a fact that many of my friends can’t get in MM games, some nights are better for them than others but the majority of the time they give up and move along back to either BF4, COD, or Destiny.

Me personally I try for a little when I have time and just get frustrated and go back to Diablo or something. Sad to see this happen to Halo.

I’ve been waiting for somebody on this forum to bring this up… Like you said Repete, the 2 big games that SOLD consoles had both of their developers peace out. Microsoft must be a nightmare to work under. I don’t necessarily agree with all the bashing 343 gets for Halo 4 or MCC because of that fact. You know the powers at Microsoft are just hammering release dates on 343 and they’re scrambling to meet deadlines. It’s probably Microsoft that’s keeping 343 quiet during this whole patch phase too. Bungie was able to keep people updated damnnn near daily because they were their own company. 343 is probably limited to how often they can share info with us. Probably limited on WHAT info they can share too. Microsoft doesn’t want people to know it’s not just 343/Microsoft’s games that are a problem it’s also the Xbox…
Sorry Black Tusk… I hope you have better luck than 343.

On a side note, does anybody find it odd that Microsoft picked 343 to be the name of their in-house studio? “343” which is “343 Guilty Spark” who is the main antagonist in very first HALO ever made?

This is your flagship. If it wasn’t ready, keep it for the time being. WE WOULD’VE PAID FOR IT ANYWAY. It doesn’t matter when the game comes out to the fans, we just want to BE ABLE TO PLAY IT. But instead they gave it out for the holiday rush and capitalized on our devotion. Defend 343 even though they’re partly guilty but Do not dare defend those above them.

UBISOFT MASSIVE has DELAYED THE DIVISION FOR 2 YEARS. Why? Because they have stated that the big companies do NOT tell them when the release date is, the DEVELOPER is in control.

All you have to do is google, stop trying to use bing.

Do a little searching and you will also find the Dev Team (Ubisoft Massive) said they did not appreciate Microsoft putting them on the spot and saying a release date when it HAD NOT BEEN CLEARED THROUGH THE DEV TEAM. Not even to mention the FACT that Microsoft wanted them to make the Xbox the Lead design console, yet they said “NO” PS4 is more powerful and better to run the engine on. For the record I am not a PS fan.

How do you know this? What is the population of the game? Do you search in teams often?
