Hum, how to begin this topic with all these contreverse agaisnt 343i, well,

look in only 2 days they fix the major problem of searching games in MM, we went to an average of 15minutes to find a game to 4minutes maximum. You need to understand that this is not a ‘‘normal’’ game, it’s a 4in1 game. NO COMPAGNY, EVER, EVER MADE this kind of project. So you can understand that, they are the pioneer in this kind of games, and it’s a huge responsability.

There’s no point on going crazy on the 343 team, it won’t help, if you want to improve the game, go on reports feedback and right a topic about your problem in a decent way. Then people can help you out, if there’s something to do about it and you didn’t know, or if you can’t fix it, well 343 will look into it to fix it themselves.

Look i understand that all you guys want a refund, but you can’t get a refund, even in you go in court or do what ever you want, you just CAN’T (since the game is downloaded, installed or even open). I just want to be clear with all of you; let 343i do their work and let them fix the problems one by one, they’ve been working on the problems 24/7 since the begining of the game to the moment i’m typing this post.

Time is a vertue, if you’re a real HALO fan, you won’t let 343i down for what is going on and you’ll understand the work behing this huge and awesome game!

I just can’t the over the fact that, fan, real halo fan, can be mad at this point at the game. Look they’re improving the game day by day, at the moment i’m talking they’re working on an update to improve in a major way the game (look your MOTD on console). There’s no reason to be salty about it or hating, be patient and wait for them to improve it you have custom games/ campaing to play if you can’t wait 4 minutes to find a MM game.

Had about 25 matches yesterday, although marred by some crashes and uneven teams I still had fun. Can only get better from here. And playing customs with friends? Priceless.

I find it disapointing that such fans can be this much hypocrite. Look it took bungie 4 weeks to fix the problem of Xbox Live and servers problem when it first came out, No one remember or i’m the old one here? Look i find impressive that only in 2 days they fixed A LOT OF BUGS from the servers. The game is not broken, the servers were.

As you say everything is going better and better. OK it’s not perfect but at least we have a decent game to play and we can find MM in no time. Still have minor issues to fix (team 3v4 etc, party invites, crashs …) but at least they’re doing a great job about it and it is playable now.

It certainly is very playable now.

I had many great multiplayer games last night - some of the best gaming i’ve had in a long time.

As most of us say, it can only go better now. Some people still have issues to find game, most of them is because of their connection or their NAT (moderate or strict). But i’m happy to see that i’m not the only one to enjoy the game even if there’s minor server problems. And mostly happy to see people that think just like me !

I don’t want a refund. But I do want a game that works.
All the hate you are seeing is not really hate, it’s people who love the Halo games wanting the game to work.

And they haven’t fixed anything. I have not managed to get a multiplayer game at all to day.

I would like to say though that the status update from 343 yesterday where they told us what is going on and what is happening with the fix has gone a long way in calming the anger I had about the problems.

Now I just got to wait for the game to be fixed. I hope it doesn’t take too long though as I really don’t want to see the multiplayer de-populated due to people being put off and returning the game.

I understand your point of view, but i saw a huge difference between before the minonr server update and just now, finding a game takes now about 4-5minutes. To help you out let me show you some tips to find games faster:

1st: look at your connection and NAT (Nat needs to be OPEN and not; moderate or even strict.

2nd: Each time you start a game, start a timer on your phone, laptop, computer, mp3 etc… it takes 15-5minutes to find a game. if you don’t find a game in 5minutes just restart the search and you need to see the little circle turning around jhust after searching players so you know that you’re really searching for a game.

3rd: if all this doesn’t help out sign out take off the game and re-insert it. Then start a custom game by yourself and end it right away. After this go search a game in MM, this should help.

4th: If any of this work well i’m afraid i’m out of solution for now, but if you keep looking every hour on the BUG FEEDBACK thread, you’ll see new solutions to improve your game searching.
5th: Enjoy Matchmaking Sir !

Yes this is the most popular solution to the problem, it doesn’t solve everything but it still help to find games much quicker !

Well, it’s still Halo! As much as i would like to play the other games, Halo 3 is keeping me entertained a little bit.

Yeah J0rpii, that’s exaclty want i ment people just complaint without really looking for solutions. There’s plenty of solutions to get a better and much quicker time in MM finding. And people should stay tune on @halo on twitter, all their moves are describe in their post.

My NAT is open. That was the first thing I checked when I first got the game and realised match making wasn’t working.

I’ve already tried everything you said.

But in another reply to this thread someone mentioned changing the xbox region to United States. I will try that to see if that helps.

It will improve the time for finding a game, but it won’t help your connection to crash from the server, although frankie’s little guide about ‘‘in lobby’’ searching helps a lot of player. When you search a game you need to make sure that ‘‘in lobby’’ appears on top of your screen, or you won’t find any game. There’s plenty of things to do, i just made a guide where people can share their solutions and i shared all the one i know about.

Something must have happened because it’s suddenly started working without needing to change the region.

Problem is though I can only get into BR matches. I can’t understand why everyone insists on voting for them.

Don’t people realise there are other game modes besides Team BR or slayer BR?

It would be nice to be able to play another game mode like crazy king or CTF or even standard team slayer but no everyone insists on voting for the same game mode time and time again.

Seriously when they do fix the server problem they better change the voting system so that BR matches stop showing up every game.

If you want my opinion they just need to add an Objective playlist (H2/H3). this would fix the problem for all the poeple that have the same opinion as you. Although they need to fix the servers problems first then they’ll start adding new playlist.

jeez 25 matches. In total ive gotten only 5 games since release

I don’t want to be “that guy,” but I refuse to read anything from anyone who uses the wrong “write.”

Plus, 4 games in 1 is a lame excuse, the servers suck, oh and at this point right now, the game sucks.
